Bella Santi — Restaurant in Vienna

Not at all recommended. We ordered Non-veg and Veg-Biryani . Veg-biryani was good but the non-veg was pathetic. The manager also charged us some 2 Euros on the name of ‘Gedeckt’ and when I asked his what does that mean , he said “we charge 1-1 euro per person” . This was just a ‘covered’ fees , and i felt like he lied to us by saying something like this.

Worst. Not recommend at all. Money waste.

The only good thing about this place is the food. I was rather dissapointed with the behavior of the staff - super rude and not at all courteous. We were served with a sweet chili sauce with the samosa ( which can be unusual, but it's ok) and we requested if we could get some ketchup - at this we were asked rather rudely "you require ketchup also? Eat with the sweet chili we have given you". We were flabbergasted with this attitude and did not say anything. He further gave us the ketchup saying they have everything! So clearly the first statement was not necessary. All this made us feel very uneasy. There were other small actions too, which I'm not listing down here. Worst Indian restaurant I have ever been to. The naan bread was horrendous - like a poor quality pizza base with strange spices in it and an oddly fishy aftertaste. When I told the restaurant it was inedible, they didn’t seem to care and proceeded to charge me for it. The chicken tikka masala tasted like the sauce was from a jar. Lamb saag was ok. Food was lukewarm and there were dead bugs on the table. Restaurant had a weird mix of Indian, Italian and Viennese food on the menu…always a red flag. I should have known better.
