Sajado Invalidenstraße — Restaurant in Vienna

We came here spontaneously, very hungry, and were tempted by how busy the restaurant looked — we thought it would be a great choice. The service was friendly, but unfortunately the food didn’t live up to our expectations.

The sushi was okay but quite pricey for what you get. The avocado and tofu nigiri were average, and the tofu didn’t taste fresh at all. The Pad Thai was very European-style — mild, not authentic, and felt like a “safe” version rather than true Thai flavors.

After finishing our meal, we were still hungry despite spending around €50. Overall, it was okay, but not somewhere we’d return to if you’re looking for fresh ingredients or authentic...

We went there for dinner after seeing the very good reviews. The food was very average. We took just basic salmon and tuna sushi and the fish was absolutely not fresh, had quite a bad smell, and overall did note have any particularly good or interesting flavor. Very basic food option, too basic for the price. We've had much better sushi in other places in Europe, this was disappointing especially for the reviews we saw and the expectation we had for it. The food tastes really good like every normal sushi place, but the whole presentation of the food and the design of the restaurant makes the experience absolutely unique. I’ve never seen so much thought and care put into serving sushi like I have here. Everything has its place, it’s minimalistic but it’s also going the extra mile.
