This restaurant bar offers great food for reasonable pricing, the staff was professional and I received good service.

I planned to eat Schnitzel that night, but the "must go" Schnitzel restaurants were booked out, so my entourage & I came here.

There were positive vibes all over the place. We chose to sit on the second floor inside since we didn't want to be next to where people were smoking.

We began with a warm soup (that also warmed our hearts...) and got several classic Austrian dishes.

My choice for the main course was a salad with Schnitzel stripes, which was very good. The other dishes (as you can see in my video) were good as well.

I am not entirely sure how to categorise this place - is it a pub or a restaurant, or perhaps a bit of both? Regardless, upon arrival, my husband and I were fortunate enough to secure a table despite the incredible busyness. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the menu, though offering only a few dishes, was remarkably appealing to the palate. The burger we ordered was delightfully juicy, as was the pork Schnitzel, accompanied by wonderfully crunchy chips. The service stood out as one of the fastest we have experienced so far in Vienna. It was a satisfying meal, and we appreciated the absence of any pressure to vacate our table. Our enjoyment was further enhanced by a much-needed, excellent pint of beer. Will be back for sure. This place is a local treasure. We bumped into it as the bar we were originally going to go was closed, but this place ended up being SO MUCH BETTER. The beer selection is fantastic, although the cocktails could be better. The gin and tonic was a bit... too much gin and cheap tonic. But the food was insanely good, hence why I still give it a 5/5. The woman waiter was fantastic and super friendly, although the guy that brought us the bill was not even acknowledging that we were giving a good tip for our bill.
