The bagels were really tasty. Here’s the issue. The Unfortunately, the staff prepared the bagels quite disgustingly without gloves (some were with one glove on). They were touching the bagels with their bare hands after touching their phones or other unsanitary objects (without washing them). Before serving the bagels, they put them on the dirty counter near the register. The last straw for us though was when they put lettuce with their bare hands (again without washing their hands first). We were NOT going to eat that. We therefore asked for a refund to which they replied that refunds aren’t possible in their system. (Ridiculous) They also don’t print receipts btw. We were planning on just leaving but the team offered to prepare new bagels (this time cleanly). They were nice to offer us free coffees in addition while we were waiting. In the end we got nice and tasty bagels. Therefore I’m giving them 3 stars rather than 2. I hate to write bad reviews but hopefully this will help them improve. The bagels were really great but I don’t see myself eating there again (definitely not ordering delivery), which is a shame because they have a lot...

A bittersweet food experience. I had a hot chicken bagel and a cappuccino. The coffee was pretty good and well prepared, but it was ready around 10 minutes before the bagel; it is indeed hard to coordinate drinks and food preparation at peak time, but possible. Being that said, let's focus in the start of the show: the bagel.

It was promising at first, as you can feel how heavy is it for its size, and it came wonderfully warm and cut. The filling is generous, which is not always the case. Great. The problem was that I only tasted cream cheese; it was not disgusting at all, but if you order the hot chicken, you are looking for a wider flavour spectrum. I tried to be positive though, and I though that, maybe, there was such a massive quantity of cheese, that the chicken flavour was covered. Therefore, I just tried the chicken tenders: juicy and not dry at all, but again, tasteless.

Maybe I did not make a good choice or I was unlucky that given day, taking into account the place's rating. But it feels hard coming back after this...

I use to visit Budapest Bagels more frequently some years ago but i have just recently started going again, but sadly this will already end. On multiple occasions have they ignored my allergy requests. Sadly i am allergic to certain products but they are easily replaceable. But it seems the staff there do not take allergies seriously. Since i was handed the item multiple times now with the wrong fillings / milk. Since i am highly allergic i will no longer go there since i can not trust them to listen to me. Allergic reactions can be deadly for some and when you get the impression that they do not care it is not worth the risk. Also some years ago the bagels and fillings were a lot more generous now i find them rather pricey for the amount that you get. It is a shame, but i rather not end up in the hospital because their...

I was in Vienna for some days back in February and first went for the Blueberry Bagel which I saw in some reviews and wanted to try it so bad.. all I have to say is that it was so much better than what I expected…! It’s so tasty and it has a crust of sugar outside the bagel… like goddamn😭 went back every single day since then hehe! I also tried the Hot Chick, not the completely vegan but the vegetarian one, very nice! I also got a plain one, which is so simple yet SO delicious and wanted the Pistachio Raspberry one but they didn’t have any pistachio cream left so I got the one with peanut butter and jam. Not my favourite, but still good! Really tasty jam! If you visit Vienna or live here, totally recommend it and looking forward to visiting Vienna again for those tasty bagels haha

I visited Budapest Bagel Vienna for lunch and was genuinely impressed. The place is small, with just a few indoor seats, but that gives it a cozy, intimate vibe; perfect for a quick, relaxed meal. I managed to grab a seat inside and enjoyed watching the staff prepare the bagels fresh behind the counter. The bagel I ordered was absolutely delicious: perfectly toasted, generously filled, and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and the portions more than satisfying. They also offer great vegetarian and vegan options, plus gluten-free choices. Service was quick and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. It’s a little hidden gem; ideal for a flavorful, satisfying lunch in the heart of Vienna.
