In the evening of Sat Oct 22/22 me and my wife got in this restaurant which is very well located and famous. There was a chic area in-front of us that I assumed the host/hostess will come and guid us to a table! NO ,AND NO ,AND No!!! People after us were getting in and going their way to any table they liked better. I approached to a waiter in that host stand like area and asked : will somebody take care of us, he used a desperate body language meaning :DO NOT YOU SEE I AM BYSU??? GO SIT ANY WHERE IS AVAILABLE! So we did. It took a while till a waiter to show up and immediately asked ,"for dinner? "I said yes, he smiled and went back snd came with tow menus . We learned at first night in Vienna that we do not like Schnitzel. We began with Two large draft beer -lager- which was great and creamy pumpkin soup for my wife and a homemade beef soup for me. Both soups were delicious. My wife that great cook said her soup was fantastique! Main course for both of us was Salmon garnished with vegs and potatoes . We both liked it greatly. Very well made. And atmosphere and ambience was good , not too snobbish. We enjoyed our night which it was the goal! But the directing admins of this restaurant needs to work on welcoming guests, unless they do not need our money! Our bill officially on a computerized ticket wad $68.20. Guy asked : cash or credit , I said cash and when I wanted to pay he went , I am sorry You had three beers but I charged you for one! I said ok correct it and he said add $10 more !!! I did not mind cause Orwell says , if a worker would drink one litter of beer per day and management make it hard on him not to, and prevent economic damages to business, he will drink 5 litters.! AGAIN THEY NEED TO WORK ON THEIR HOSTING AND...

Please tourists be away !

During a recent family trip to Europe, we decided to dine at a local restaurant, expecting a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, our expectations were met with disappointment due to the service provided.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted indifferently, and the issues began when I attempted to order a beer. The first waitress refused to take my order until everyone was ready, which was inconvenient as my family, who do not speak English or German, required additional time to decide. This response was not only unaccommodating but also came across as inflexible and unwelcoming.

In contrast, another waiter agreed to take my order immediately when asked, highlighting inconsistency in service standards within the establishment. This disparity in service quality was concerning and detracted significantly from our dining experience.

Furthermore, the behavior of the initial waitress, who was seen laughing with a colleague after I finally received my beer, was unprofessional and disrespectful. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for us, leading us to leave the restaurant prematurely.

In conclusion, this experience was far from what we had hoped for in a dining establishment. The lack of consistent, respectful service and the unwelcoming attitude of certain staff members were major drawbacks. I cannot recommend this restaurant to others and urge the management to address these issues promptly to improve future customers'...

Soups are very good here. They have a fine goulachsuppe (goulasch soup) that they're very proud of. This dish has an additional feature of having sliced wurstel in it and it's quite tasty. They also offer a bone marrow soup that is not very common in Vienna, but it is also very tasty in its fatty goodness. I ordered the wiener schnitzel and it seemed like it was sitting around for a bit... that's not how it should be. Perhaps this was because my dining partner ordered the half grilled chicken, which they advertise that it takes longer to prepare (it was good, not great). I bet they wanted both meals to come out together, but the schnitzel did not live up to Viennese standards as a result of waiting for the chicken. It must be served immediately/hot of course. Service is attentive and friendly and this restaurant has been around for a while and they have a pretty good reputation. You can dine inside or outside here. Additionally, they are unique in that they offer half-size portions for their guests at a slightly discounted price. My experience in the past has been sometimes good and sometimes just ok (the food). I guess it depends on the day. Who knows. Perhaps it's worth it for you to roll the bones and see...

Zum leupold is a family run restaurant in central Vienna, with an overall good location, good food, atmosphere and service. cant say i have any complaints about most anything, the food was exquisite (ordered the wiener Schnitzel) and the atmosphere was cozy. The service, was not bad, however, there was a bit of communication trouble. It took a good while for them to come to our table with menus to order, then, whilst consuming our meals (i was with a party of three), we asked one of the waiters about a certain dessert, and when we must order it, the so called kaiserschmarren. The waiter failed to understand our question as we were asking if we could order it then and there. This is not to make a deal of the situation, we simply ordered 5 minutes later, it’s just to be descriptive. All in all, it was a great restaurant experience, would highly recommend to anyone visiting

Leupolds Kupferdachl is in my memory since the 1970 s, was one of the Best Restaurants of Vienna then, and a very good one still The booking of a table took some time, and the Service staff sent us to the lower ground floor, aa he could not accomodate us We were happy on a large round table in.the end... then Restaursnt was full, on.this wednesday, evening 18:00 Food was very good, had goose rilette and tafelspitz sulz as appetizer, and saibling and waller, both local fishes as main course. Food was perfect,.Portion sitze, Taste, Presentation and price was a match,.. Each of us had a Beer and a together good white wine bottle Came to 50€ per person, Super, Only as afeedback would.be the tableflowers, .. which have seen better days, And the toilets, which color scheme of the tiles send you back to the 70 s
