ALLERGY SUFFERERS BEWARE I had lunch here with my partner who has a severe (life threatening) ALLERGY to egg. They have allergens outlined on their menu which is great, we picked 2 egg free dishes. Yet despite checking with the waitress who just consulted the menu both my partner and I both received meals with mayonnaise (of which the primary ingredient is egg and would almost certainly kill him). When mentioned to the owner, she did not care one little bit but this is incredibly dangerous. My food was ok, my partner's was nice but neither were worth waiting for a new meal to be cooked/ being the only one eating, having and not being able to kiss my partner for the rest of the day when we're on holiday (I'd simply have had the soup!). It's worth bearing in mind that having had the allergy since infancy like most, he has no idea what egg or mayonnaise tastes like and would be completely oblivious until his throat starts to close up with anaphylactic shock. The manager clearly did not care nor will she update the menu so I feel it's important to warn people because one day someone will end up dead because of it. I would be devastated to loose my partner because of someone's lack...

We visited for an evening meal and were a little disappointed with the experience generally.

My partner had chicken schnitzel with fries (came with a small salad) which he did like but my Grilled Feta Cheese was a disappointment. It was not really a dish / meal but more objects placed on a plate - the block of cheese, half a tomato, half a pepper, a piece of falafel then a couple of small bowls (salad and hummus).

Service was generally quite slow and we couldn't seem to attract attention - but the food did come quickly so we were not waiting in that aspect, and it was warm.

The venue itself was pleasant although the one side was far too hot given the outdoor hearing was overpowering! They had a DJ playing which was a nice change.

We went away feeling we had spent a lot on an about average meal. I would say that we would be prepared to visit again but would have something different from the menu (maybe a wrap) - just on this occasion it...

My girlfriend and I had some late lunch here while in town and had a pretty good experience. We were looking for something authentic and the worker out front pulled is in, but letting us know about how good the schnitzel was. The prices looked pretty good and it was in the famous market so we decided to give it a go.

The service here was extremely slow, but given it was super busy it was understandable, but note this if you are looking for something quick. We got a window seat and the cool air was blowing through the deli so it felt great and the energy inside was good.
