The comments that say that this food isn't good are shocking. I understand that people have different tastes, but that it isn't good, it makes me wonder what is exactly good for your taste. I've heard people there asking if they have spring rolls. Maybe you're looking for a street food stand that has nothing to do with the Chinese food. Anyway, this is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Vienna and after the prices went so much up, it's the only one that I'll keep going to from time to time - because of the food. I am coming here since 2015 or earlier, even before the renovation. BUT ! - and I hope they will see my review and take it seriously - there is one element that starts making me not wanting to come back again. The size of the portions are getting smaller and smaller. After the pandemic the portions were already smaller, but I was 2 days ago and the portions were maybe the half of what they used to be before the pandemic. My favourite Sichuan Breitbohnen (main dish) looked like a small starter. I thought it's a mistake, because the portions before were at least twice as large. I told thewaitress that this must be a mistake, but she seemed like she doesn't speak German, then I told the other waitress and she acted the same way. When I left, I was disappointed. 2 days after I still am and I decided to write this review. I hope you won't ignore it. If this happens again, you would probably lose a very...
Read moreFood was ok but most of it was far too oily and the kimchi was so sweet that it was almost inedible.
It took over an hour for the starters to come out (steamed dumplings) and then 30 minutes more for 2 out of 3 mains to come out. The 3rd main came 20 minutes after that. We were also told we would have to wait 30 minutes longer for rice (at this point 2 out of 3 mains were already on the table) but in the end they still had some cooked rice left for us so it came shortly after.
The worst part was that not one of the 3 people who tended to our table apologised or explained the delays, and when I asked at the end why the food took so long they said it's because another table ordered a really complicated dish and we wanted all of our dishes to come out at the same time (we never said that and that's not what they ended up doing anyway). So: no apology, made excuses that don't make sense (if a complicated dish is going to keep the rest of your clientele waiting for 1 hour+, that's not a dish you should be offering), and essentially lied about us wanting all the dishes to come out at once. To top it off, the waitress asked if I wanted to leave a tip.

Read moreDrove by this spot and decided to give it a try while visiting Vienna, Austria 🇦🇹 & we loved everything we ordered including the Chinese liquor that is a specialty from China west region.
From the noodles, dumplings to spicy beef and thin chopped tofu skin all tasted authentic and delicious. And I am not talking about Panda Express type of Asian food 😂.
I was impressed to see the local awards along with some of the specialty Chinese liquor.
Service was not the most efficient but very friendly. Given the waiter, didn’t know how to charge us when we requested two shots of the specialty Chinese liquor they have displayed on the shelf. But he was able to find out the price by contacting owner.
Pricing was reasonable (to us), and I understand there are different standards and perceptions with people coming from the US and different social economic status. But to us, there is no way we are able to eat a meal like this and not paying over $100 dollars in the US. And here we paid under it.
