Suk Sushi-Bar — Restaurant in Vienna

We arrived early dinner during a week day.

The young lady at the front, signal us to wait since the restaurant was getting full, so we did. Two minutes after she just dismissed us without an explanation. Since we didn't speak German I used the translator to ask how long will it take for a table to be open. Then, she got mad and pointed to the bar area and tossed the menu at us.

Later she took our order and we heard her speaking English to other people, but she didn't to us. ( Since she didn't give an explanation before, we weren't sure she spoke English, but she did and fluently). The whole experience was super rude and we felt uncomfortable during the whole night.

The food was average, with good portions.

This restaurant only takes cash. For us the experience was terrible due to the service and how rude they were towards me and my wife.

Me and my partner are on the hunt for the best sushi in town and this place is our favorite so far! Fish is very fresh, sushi rice tastes good and the portions are quite big. Ratio of rice to fish is also really good, I find that some places tend to have a bit too little rice for my tastes but here it’s perfect. The place also has quite a few of sitting options which is nice for people who like to comfortably sit down and take their time. More than 20 years ago:

My first host at my B&B came from Konstanz (Germany). She was a Japanese. She said, ever she visited Vienna she went for a Sushi at Suk Sushi.

I have to try, too, if someone with the origin of Japan says so...20 years ago 😏

Meanwhile: not living in Vienna anymore, and I try to be there when I am in town.

Like yesterday? Yes!
