It was a very disappointing experience! We came without a reservation, and I asked if we can be seated. The waitress asked- are you going to eat? Does it mean you will have free space if we eat, and you won’t find a spot if I come for a coffee? Rude. Then she asked if one hour would be enough? 😳 am I supposed to rush when eating? The cafe was half empty the whole 2,5 hours we spent there. Then my friend asked if she can get an omelet but instead of a piece of bread she would ask just for more salad. The same waitress was completely overwhelmed by it, and said it wasn’t possible. Zero customer oriented approach. The other waitress though managed to do it. The unfriendly vibed waitress came back and wanted to take away a decanter that was half filled with water still. (just why?) After we asked for a bill we were invited to pay at the bar, where the waitress asked us what was our table number. REALLY? Isn’t it your job to know where your guests sit?! It left me speechless. I should mention that the food was fine and I liked the coffee. But my glass was broken and obviously no one cared about it either. The male waiter was kind and the place itself is interestingly styled. It used to be a metro entrance, which makes it special, so it’s very sad the service was so disappointing. Nevertheless to say, I’ll never come back there and won’t recommend it to any of my friends. Not a place where you feel like a wanted guest. Sad.

First of all, the location was inaccurate and we spent 15 mins trying to find the place, it turned out to be underground! The pics in google don’t portray the actual restaurant. Second of all, the coffee latte was served extremely cold and the food took too long that we finished our drinks before it came. Also, we asked for black tea, but they served earl grey, we asked for black tea again and they gave us some flavored tea that tastes like cough medicine. Moreover, the sourdough was couple days old and cold as well. Overall, we just wanted to get out, it wasn’t a pleasant experience.

I shared an amazing breakfast with my friends here. The food was delicious, the bagel from ‚Otto’s Dirty Favorite’ could have been toasted though. It would have made for easier cutting. The ‚Avocado Mash‘ and ‚Karl likes it hard‘ got top reviews from my friends. Service was really friendly and managed to accommodate all our wishes. Think mini Gin Tonic for breakfast. Lovely atmosphere and so unique. Not easy to find, when you don’t know where to look for it. Best to access directly from U4, just up the escalator and it’s in fron of you.

We spent five days in Vienna and on our way to Charles Church we found this lovely cafe. What a lovely setting . My husband ordered a bagel and we thought just a small bagel with maybe some tomatoes would appear . But hey no this Bagel was large and filled with salami, tomato, spinach , cheese and some balsamic dressing . In fact we shared it . It was fantastic. We had coffee then later my husband had espresso . We went another day and had the same but this time one each ! The service was great , waitresses so friendly and our waitress had remembered my husband was going to order espresso and preempted . We could have eaten there everyday and prices were very reasonable . Would recommend anyone to visit this lovely cafe ! Hopefully we will return to Vienna plenty more to see and we will definitely...

We went there on the weekend before Christmas, it was crazy busy with locals and tourists alike. The place doubles as a club at night and has some Berlin aestethic to it, in a poitive way. It is a rather smallish venue, so reservations are recommended. We had none but they shuffled some things around and fitted us in anyways. The coffee was awesome, the food they serve is really good as well. We especially loved the roasted dumplings. The two tall guys running the show had obviously fun and spread joy. They were also kind enough to give us some great tips for our time in Vienna....
