Pizzeria Venezia — Restaurant in Vienna

A simply excellent Italian restaurant. We received wonderful service, the guy who served us always approached us with a smile and answered our requests quickly. The food arrived very quickly, the pizzas were huge, full of cheese and toppings. The taste was excellent. It is felt that the food was prepared with love and that it is handmade. The tiramisu for dessert was very tasty. We also took two salads that were light and refreshing and the prices were reasonable. The restaurant is relatively close to Belvedere Palace. The service was great, but not all the dishes were great.

The pasta was great, coming in a very generous portion.

However, the chicken schnitzel in mushroom sauce with rice and salad was not very impressive. The first time it came, it’s burnt and tasted very bitter with a very dark and burnt mushroom sauce. I’m very glad that the owner was willing to change it. The second time it came, it’s finally not burnt, but it’s still overcooked. It’s not tender at all, instead it’s more chewy.

In short, I recommend anything but...

Good pizza (I'd say slightly above average for Viennese standards), usual prices, not too expensive, but not super cheap either. Very typical for an Italian restaurant when it comes to food and interior.
