AVOID. Service is non-existent. You literally have to flag a waiter down (after sitting there for 15-20 minutes) to get someone to take your order, bring you refills, check, etc. When I asked for still water, they brought out a used, opened bottle of tap water that they pretended was brand new(for, brand named bottle that they charge you 8 euros for (example, they put a cap on it and pretended open it for the first time, but you can tell the top isn't sealed and the bottle looks like it's been through several cycles - see pic). On my fist night, I got the beef tartare which came out warm and firm on the outside. Asked them to take it back and got the fillet (they still charged me for the tartare). The fillet wasn't much better; had an off flavor and was tougher than it should have been. The next night I got the seafood pasta - three mussels, three shrimp and a norwegian lobster about the size of a small cocktail shrimp for 35 euros. I get that these places charge a lot, but the mussels were rubbery, the shrimp were stiff like they were originally cooked 2 days ago and got dried out in the fridge. Honestly, the restaurant feels like a tourist scam. The wait staff seems to hustle, but they lack communication between each other and the food is extremely sub par for the area. We read the great reviews and were excited to try this restaurant. It was a beautiful evening so we chose to sit on their terrace. From the start our waiter had an attitude, for, bringing only two menus for three of us, to rolling his eyes when we ordered two water for the table (in addition to other drinks). We then ordered a portion of hummus and pitta to start. A large bowl of hummus was brought with four tiny teaspoon size bits of pitta. We asked for more amd 15 minutes later, another four teaspoon size bits of pitta arrived. Our two water was forgotten about and we had to ask several times for items we ordered. All requests were met with a hassled reaction from the waiter who clearly wasn't interested in being helpful or polite. Two of us ordered the chicken cashew which was good, but my friend ordered the octopus which was c. €20 for two small bits of octopus. When the bill came, they had charged us for the extra pitta. This is the second time me writing review in google map. And I wanted to share my experience which was overall just awful. We were asked to take a seat in literally dead eye zone area when there were multiple seats available. Then, we waited 30min to even get a menu, and menu card doesn‘t include any cocktail menus. You might need to explain the cocktail you would like to have in detail, and the worst thing is that waiter is extremely unfriendly. I don’t know what the problem was with the waiter, but he completely ignored us while he was happy to serve selective customers, who arrived after us. We loved the hotel to stay in but we think that this bar does not have the same standard what the hotel offers.
