HORRIBLE!!! Horrible food. Horrible service. Do not come here. The service was so bad and one of the servers was so rude (the older man). We paid €28 per person for one croquette, a tiny salad, and some mussels where we had to share the fries which were terrible. How do you mess up fries?! The other two servers, the younger man and the younger lady, were very nice. It was so bad we had to ask for bread and we saw that the bread was sitting around and flies were all over it. They served it in a bag and we didn’t even end up eating it. The people out on the balcony ended up throwing it to the ducks in the canal. We ordered the mussels and the sauce that came with the mussels was disgusting. It’s as if they scooped a bucket into the canal and cooked the mussels with that water. Zero flavor and just plain gross. Some of the mussels were even closed so we couldn’t eat them. The only thing good about this entire experience was the dessert because it was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. It’s totally not worth the €28 per person menu, plus there are only 6 seats outside on the patio which means only three tables with two seats each. Do not come here. You’ve...

The food was okay. The Croquettes (Shrimp and Cheese) were good, but the Sole and Beef were below standards of a city centre restaurant. The fries were undercooked, the salad was reused on every plate and the desert was simply ice cream; so nothing out of the ordinary here, and all for the most expensive restaurant of our trip. Maybe it would have been 3 stars if the waiter would have been less impatient with clients and us. I asked for the wifi because I wanted to look up something that I did not understand on the menu. He looked at me and said: "well the menu is written in 4 languages." However, the word I did not understand was in my own language; French. However, he assumed that I spoke English as a first language. That was very rude and degrading; he couldn't speak French anyways so he shouldn't reprimand clients who wish to look up things on the menu. For the rest of the evening, he wasn't the more kind or service-oriented. Really a below-average experience and not...

Last night we arrived in Bruges late and given the very different closing times from the Italian ones we quickly chose this restaurant for dinner. Driven by curiosity, we chose mules and frites for 2 people but the waiter didn't explain to us that each portion included about 1kg of abundant mussels ... among other things, there weren't many variations so they brought us simple mussels with vegetables , while the fries were the classic "frozen" ones. Furthermore, the waiter who took the order refused to serve us "tap water"...obviously we didn't want to make a fuss but our waiter certainly took advantage of two last-minute tourists. In fact, his colleague, much more courteous, later explained to us that it was possible to take half a portion of mussels, or a portion for two, precisely because they are very abundant. Therefore I can't recommend this place and not so much for a cheap speech as for the way the waiter...

Such a disappointing experience. Very nice terrace and not too bad place, but we ordered the 28€ menu (very expensive) with entrance/main/dessert. Between every plate, we had to wait around 30 minutes even with the dessert, which was simply ice cream. Once I entered the place after waiting around 10 minutes, I stood up to ask for a menu, and the very rude waiter told me in a high voice that if he had had a menu, he would've given me one already, the table next to us heard it and they kindly gave me one (the waiter is a bold short guy). The other 2 waiters were very kind, one of them speaks Spanish, and the other is a bigger bold guy that serves in the bar area. I don't recommend this place if you want to take advantage of your time in Bruges. Don't go there and avoid the bad experience.

Went here for dinner. Reservations were for 8pm. Place was 80% full. No wait and table was ready. Service was quick and meals out in time and hot. Foods were great and plenty. Wait staff were helpful and quick to bring and clean up. Would go back. Good food nice place. Fancy dress was not needed but you would fit in if you had dressed up a bit. We sat outside so a bit of street noise as we are in the middle of the tourist area.
