Nakhon Thai 🇹🇭 — Restaurant in Bruges

Really nice people. Let us in about 20 minutes before opening, which was very kind.

Unfortunately, nothing else was very good. Servers mixed up two separate items we ordered (one app and one main), confused other requests, and were really quite slow. It was busy, but we waited over 25 minutes for the check... only getting it after 25 minutes by asking again.

Food was bland and would be forgettable if it wasn't overpriced. They didn't seem to even have a spice scale. Everything was unspiced, but we ordered it hot. Instead of adding it while cooking, they brought dried chili. Sadly even it wasn't spicy. After three spoons of it added nothing to my pad thai, I tried a spoon of it directly. Nothing. It must have been sitting around for years. The massamun curry was really salty. The prawns in the tom kha were perfect though (of course, only after they brought that instead of the tom yum which they brought by mistake).

Though the whole staff was Thai, it tasted like really boring white people were cooking....

The worst service I had till date!

We had ordered vegetarian food. Waitress noted down everything and said it's possible to customize the food to vegetarian option. When the food arrived on table, we saw that everything included either chicken or eggs. We mentioned the same to the owner. The owner was so furious at us as we didn't eat the food which included chicken / eggs!! She went back to the kitchen, got our remaining orders and banged the food bowls on our table. When we asked where is our remaining orders without chicken she started yelling and said "No food for you" !!

This kind of rude behavior towards hungry customers is totally unacceptable. We weren't wrong in the first place and when we asked them to rectify their mistake they in-return were furious. We didn't eat food as the service was so bad and left the place with...

Authentic Thai cuisine, attentive Tibetan staff, exotic interior decor, flickering candle light... Dining was a beautiful experience. This was my fist experience here. The second time I came here, it was not cool. I had no cash in euros but US dollars, and then the waitress told me that because of technical problems they couldn't use their POS machine, so they were going to send a staff member to escort me to an ATM machine to draw euros. Then the boss (an Asian woman) came, and asked me to try the pos machine one more time. It was connecting for quite a while until finally the payment went through. I was just detained there standing amidst all customers waiting for the pos connecting and connecting... No sorry, no apologies, I felt like I had just eaten and wanted to run away without paying the...
