Sorry that you have it hard and dull. You can never get any better, if you are not open to criticism -_+
TLDR - For god's sake, I know waste when I step on it and I'm sure it was spelled "Pizzeria Da Mario"
Ah, Pizzeria da Mario—a shining beacon of hospitality, where your very presence is apparently an inconvenience. How delightful it was to find this gem among a row of bustling restaurants. Its empty tables weren't a red flag at all, but rather a promise of "exclusive service," or so we naively thought.
We walked in, lured by their desperate smiles, only to discover that their eagerness to "welcome" us was about as authentic as canned spaghetti sauce. The waiter, clearly moonlighting as a financial analyst, couldn't care less about our dining experience. No, no—what mattered most was calculating the exact worth of our meal before we even had a sip of water. Why bother with a menu when your only job is to prove your net worth?
When we dared suggest we’d like to order course by course—you know, like civilized diners—they gave us an ultimatum: commit to a full bill now or kindly exit stage left. How wonderfully accommodating! Nothing says "hospitality" like being unceremoniously asked to leave for not conforming to their transactional dining philosophy.
So, Mario (or whoever’s in charge of this circus), here’s a tip: you’re in the hospitality industry, not a stock exchange. If you’re so desperate to ensure every customer spends enough to cover your rent, maybe try earning their loyalty instead of kicking them out. Oh, and I’d love to verify my experience for you—because it’s not every day you get treated like a gatecrasher at an...
Read moreUpdate 14.04.2024 In reply to the response: I really feel pity for having had food at your restaurant and even paying 20% tip to the waitress(Urge you to check the bill) after reading such a fascist comment from you. I'm surprised that you concentrate more on the color of the skin than the food that you serve on the plate or the way you treat your customer. I do own a business but this doesn't give me permission or the grant me treat my customer with such a worst hospitality as you do. I already mentioned that the weather was cold and don't feel like have a cold drink. But for your super duper waitress, drink matters the most :-D. Lastly, I appreciate you if you could adapt the mind set that all the customers aren't same and STOP judging and discriminating customers just by looks. Don't judge a book by its cover. People want to take back good memories from the countries they visit and YOU ruin them.
First Review: For the Waiter at this restaurant, the Drink matters the most than the food itself. We have ordered the food but didn't want to order any cold drinks as the weather is cold and rainy. My plan is to order a coffee at the end. Soon after taking the main course order, he asked for the drink and I said not now. He immediately put back the order machine and told Drink is must. So forcefully I ordered a drink. The table next to us just ordered drinks worth 7€ where as ours is multiple times more than that. Somehow we felt bad with the service provided. The Food tastes just tasted like their service...
Read moreGreat location, in the heart of busy tourist area, cosy environment. Food wise we (party of 4) had taste for a pizza, and decided to get there. At first my partner was asked to leave as she was finishing her, purchased elsewhere, waffle. Oh well, I understand you sell waffles and dont want to show other ones at your place, but well you suppose to be pizza place, so make your mind about your identity. Politeness questionable but well we wanted pizza. Ordered Peperoni, Quattro Stagioni (that's how you write it not 4 stagioni) , Napoli. Summary is, the pizza base is amazing, and cheese is very decent, give it good pizza maker with good other incidents and it might be best pizza in Belgium. However. Quatro Stagioni was a bit to wet. But peperoni had meat under the cheese. So you can imagine that while baking all the fat from (peperoni/chorizo or whatever you used) is stuck between the cheese and pizza base. So all is getting very greasy. If you dont want to show how many slices of meat you put on and ruining taste because of that... bad choice. Amazing potential due to great pizza base and cheese ruined by questionable ideas about ingredients order. I'm sure their Margarita is the best...
