My sister and brother-in-law took me to ’t Dreupelkot to try authentic Belgian jenever, and it was a memorable experience. We tasted the Huisjenevers Korenwijn (42%) and the Caves St Amand Gent Borluut Oude Jenever (55%), both of which were bold and flavorful.
The historic interior adds a lot of charm, and the dog-friendly policy is a big plus. However, the owner could have been more engaging, sharing some stories about the jenevers would have elevated the experience beyond just a quick pour and payment.

The only negative that springs to mind is that their range of geneve is so extensive, and the young man behind the bar is so keen on the joys of geneve that you can loose yourself for hours, maybe days, in this small and wonderful hidden gem.
And one of the best parts - they distill their own geneve as well as having an enormous range from the competition.
