While the meat was delicious the inexperienced chef and staff can not keep up with the amount of people.
While it was great in the start later in the evening we received pieces of questionable meat and the pineapple was burnt on the outside the first round and five minutes later the pineapple was served again raw, with the core, and the pineapple was sour as a lemon, which means it was WAY too unripe.
I could go on.. The chicken breasts were horrific and filled with cartilage The lamb was not marinated in garlic and mint as on the menu. The provencal rub on the hickennwings was just salt and aniseed(?) ending up burnt on the plate. The pork had been brined so heavily that it was like eating a scoop of salt with no pork flavour left to enjoy.
Really the best meats were the ones they did nothing with: the beef.
Sadly I was left with food poisoning, probably due to undercooked meats, and so will not return.
The atmosphere is modern, and while the decor is weird: Lights lighting pictures of lights upstairs, FX. the atmosphere is friendly and the staff happy.
The drinks were good if on the strong side.
All in all an experience I would avoid again.
EDIT: The owner of said restaurant called me on Saturday, days after my experience, on a phone number provided for the reservation - not for contacting me after the fact - to ask me about my experience. While I appreciate that this seems kind, this is a breach of GDPR and -any- privacy related laws....

Read moreI will start off by complimenting the food, especially with the provided amazing array of sauces it was fantastic. Getting the food however is where things get tricky, multiple requests to multiple servers for any kind of food resulted in at-least 20 minutes between finishing one meat and receiving the next. Had we known we would be there for that long to try all 7ish meats, we wouldâve skipped our stay in the hostel and brought an air mattress to the restaurant. After a shocking display of service we decided to do something a little crazy and ask to pay individually, now everywhere I have visited to eat before has been completely fine with that as dividing a number by three and typing it into a card machine isnt too hard. The gentleman serving us was put into stretch instantly by this request telling us that the 21% sales tax would work out as being more if we payed individually by 6 or 7 euro, I guess the percentage system in Belgium works different to the rest of the world. We had the manager come over who after some persuasion agreed to let us pay individually to round off the service part of this review. The place itself is nicely set out with nice decorum in a nice place. If you manage to get some meat then im sure its...
