Read moreI went on Saturday at around 8 o'clock. The food was ok, but I was disappointed.
I am fasting and I asked the server to cook my paratha without butter, which I know can be done, but he insisted they couldn't.
I know for a fact that oil can be used. I was so stressed out from events that happened prior that I had no energy to argue.
I tried to tell him never mind, but he misunderstood and brought me 1 paratha with butter anyways, which was small.
I gave it to my beloved girlfriend, since I couldn't eat it.
If I wasn't fasting, I would have eaten the paratha, but would be disappointed because of the portion size. I've eaten paratha at a few smaller places and I wouldn't buy it from here again.
We also spent about 20$ here and weren't even given complimentary water...yet another family received some.
The food was pretty good, service wasn't as good as it should have been. The server was kind, but didn't know what he was doing or talking about.
That makes me not want to go back.
I was happy to see Ganesh and Shiva there though. Good for...
Read moreWorst Indian food I've had all year, stingy portion sizes and all of it with NYC-level prices. Tourist trap. I've eaten a lot of Indian food in recent months in Mumbai, Bangkok and now this insult to Indian restaurants.
The price was what I would expect to pay in NYC or London... But this is Cambodia. I was expecting something special, not least from the reviews.
Instead, of the dishes I ordered, the chicken chaat was just ok, the kadai paneer mediocre, the fish tikka I almost laughed when it was brought to my table - $10 for six tiny morsels of fish that would have been insulting even as a starter. It was also dry and overcooked.
The plain naan was fine.
I only drank the complementary water.
The final bill came to over $27, which didn't include any drinks. Service was just okay as well.
Just skip this tourist trap. Plenty of high quality restaurants nearby that won't charge such insulting prices for such...
