My partner and I stopped here after a dinner date for some beer. We ended up ordering two flights with the bartenders 8 favourites. My god was it good. Our two top beers were the Brown ale and a Radler (the name slips my mind). The brown was like a mix of chocolatey and coffee flavours which hit so hard. One of the better browns ive had and ive had a good many. It would be great with some smoked meat or bbq. The radler(whose name might have been Zesst Friend? Maybe not, i dont recall) was the perfect kind of radler for a hot summer day. I would take home a big case of it if i could. Possibly one of my favourite Radlers. The other 6 beers were also fantastic but those were the 2 that stood out most for us. I was also a big fan of the Porter. I would recommend it if you like porters. Lots of rich flavour. Service was amazing. The two workers were friendly and helped us with ease. The environment was fun and it was awesome to see the brew room. We also had the pretzels. Definitely a great snack with a flight. All and all highly recommend. Loved...
Read moreIt's a bit tricky for a tourist like me to find the brewery, but it is well worth it. There is a taproom with beer and cocktails/soft drinks. There is the brewery itself which includes a viewing area for patrons as well as a wooden throne for dignified photo ops. Finally, a patio overlooks the parking lot and train tracks; there's something appealing about watching a train roll by. The beers are solid. I was particularly delighted by the seasonal offerings: a hibiscus Gose and a hibiscus sour. The NEPA was fine- perhaps a bit light compared to some 'funkier' IPAs I've tried. The staff are really great. The bartender was enthusiastic, informed, and helpful. Both staff I talked to were clearly delighted with their offerings and were eager to share and showcase them. I asked to bring some 'outside' food on the patio, and they were happy to accommodate me. When you're in Canmore, please take the time to find this brewpub and enjoy a pint...
Read moreYou. Must. Come. Here. It will complete your Canmore experience. The menu looks hectic but it’s organised hahah. You can choose what kind of beer you like & really, there’s so many. If you can’t decide, the staff at the beer tap counter are so friendly and approachable. They’ll help you out.
Also, the pie. I was feeling hungry so I ordered something to eat. It’s so good. Like I mean a chicken pie but who knew a pie could be so tasty. And it goes with the drinks.
The drinks are great. Got the Misty Mountain Hops and Highline. They have ciders and Radlers and stouts, blondes etc, you get it.
Awesome. Love it. And right next to Safeway, you can grocery shop after lol. It’s the perfect place to chill. Five starsss and I’m gonna come back before I...
