Don’t get fooled by there Fake 5 star reviews by there friends or may be paid.
I just want to share my experience of customer service given by them and Yes we didn’t Dine in (we were lucky)
On there website It says they close at 10:30pm we went to restaurant around 9:40pm I went inside myself to confirm because we were group of 6 adults and 3 kids. If they are open for Dine in when I asked front desk worker. R u guys open for Dine in she said NO. I was about to leave restaurant then guy(might be Owner)from kitchen came up said “ YES WE ARE OPEN” Then I requested straight away Is it possible to sit at corner table which is easy for us to manage kids(toddler age around 3) ‘But I got shocked by his reply, He said “BE THANKFUL ATLEAST I AM LETTING YOU DINE IN”. Then I didn’t say another word Just said “ Thanks” went out told my family we not dinning here but my sister insist she will go inside and talk. When she went inside to talk why they mentioned online website it close at 10:30 pm even now it’s only 9:40pm even though If they take last order at 10 pm still 20 min remaining. He said “ MY RESTAURANT MY RULE” totally bullshit customer service by an Owner.
How could you expect they can handle food complaints or expect good food. If they are so arrogant and rude in the first part of the customer service.
I don’t know why he didn’t say NO straight away like his receptionist said there is no need to create scene.
We didn’t create any fuss or trouble as mentioned earlier in review by there so called customer ( I don’t think so customer must someone from family or friends who attached receipt there are 100 of receipts in restaurant you can attach any) There is only 2 indian restaurant in Canmore the other restaurant close at 10PM that’s why we went to this restaurant and which turned out to be worst decision ever.
First time I saw such a bad service specially by owner I don’t think so they are there to run restaurant. I think there is only 2 indian restaurant in Canmore that why people don’t left with options and need to go and owner don’t care about customer service or...
Read moreGuys!! Trust me.. there is no option for less than one star , else I would have given that only. Absolutely unacceptable experience – dangerous and careless service. We visited this restaurant recently, and things went downhill fast. First, they served us WATER WITH A BUG IN IT. No apology, just a free dessert to “make up for it” – without even checking if kids or anyone has any allergies. That would’ve been bad enough, but what they gave us was a chocolate brownie with WALNUTS… and they never told us.
Our son has a severe nut allergy, and we are always extremely careful about what he eats. We specifically asked if the dessert had nuts, and we were told no. Minutes later, he had a serious allergic reaction, and we had to leave town to get him medical care. This was terrifying and could have been life-threatening.
When we tried to raise our concerns, the lady working there blamed us – even though they never asked us about allergies or gave accurate info about the food. That level of negligence is beyond disappointing – it’s dangerous.and that lady had hell no idea if nut allergies exists, I would request owner of this restaurant, please look for some professional people to work at your restaurant, your servers have no idea about the food industry.
And if that wasn’t enough, the food was just plain bad. The noodles were bone dry, no sauce, no seasoning – just bland and lifeless. And we had to asked for the sauce . We ordered two different curries, and they seems same option of veg and non- veg, like we don’t know anything..
I am feeling just bad that, they charge hell lot of money and no service. We just basically ruined our trip, which we just started.
Do better. People’s health is not a joke, and basic food quality should not be this hard to get right. And...
Read moreSAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME INSTEAD. When we walked in we were IMMEDIATELY DENIED SERVICE for having a party of four. They’re reasoning was that they only have tables for six not four. The couple behind us also got denied service because they only have a table for three, not two. Our group of four asked to wait for an open table but they wouldn’t let us. So our party of four and the couple decided sitting together in a table for six so we could actually eat.
As we waited to get our menu’s, our server (a shorter Indian lady) asked us what we wanted to eat without giving us any menu’s to begin with. Once we got our menus she immediately asked what we wanted without giving us time to read through. She was very disrespectful, cutting us off multiple times while we were ordering. The couple sitting next to us also had that same problem.
When we got our food, the food was decent. The chicken biryani had a little kick to it because of the spice. The garlic naan and the chicken curry were also pretty good.
We continued to wait for the rest of our orders but they never came through. We asked about where the rest of our orders were after we were done eating, but they acted like we never ordered it.
Once we got the bill, the lady charged us for food we never got. They took advantage of the fact we were paying customers and added to the bill.
It seems as they’re purposely not wanting people to come here. I think part of the reason why is because they are understaffed. At the same time I think servers shouldn’t treat PAYING CUSTOMERS with that level of disrespect. We tried our best to be as respectful as possible but we never got that respect back. I wondered why the star rating was low, but...
