I came here with my family for my 22nd birthday. It was the first time trying this place out after seeing them on google. We ordered the chicken galbi, beef rib galbi, tteokbokki, corn cheese, bulgogi dumplings and we also got given the maple fries, on the house. I really liked the beef ribs and chicken, beef ribs were super tender and had a good flavor and the glass noodles were very good with them. The chicken was a bit spicy but not too much and the cheese and ricecakes were really tasty with it! Our server was very sweet and gave us two rounds of shots on the house which was really nice of her, she was also really efficient for being the only one working on a decently busy night. I will say, I'd like to see some more food options, what they had was really good but I bet they could make even more tasty options! All in all was a very nice atmosphere and very much a good place to go with a friend or two and share a snack and some drinks. If you're looking for a nice korean spot to try out for a small party on a weekend I definitely recommend this spot, very cute, delicious drinks, great service and a good little...
Read moreI DO NOT WANT TO GO TO THIS PLACE ANYMORE. I went there for my friend's birthday party. I can see that the place has good vibes and everything, but the service was as horrible as the food we had. We ordered K fried chicken with cheese which was almost $30. The portion was really small and the bottom of the chicken was burned. On top of that, they CLEANED up our table where had some food left while we are gone outside for a smoke without asking.
To Reply to the comment from the Owner, I understand that you guys are working hard during this time. So is everyone. First of all, I apologize that some of us weren't following the social distancing rule strictly. We should be more careful next time. Second of all you said that we were 1 hour late, but, some of us made there in time only a couple of people were late to fill up the one table. Second of all, we asked the server if we could have egg tarts as it was my friend's birthday and she said YES. Third of all, I never asked my friends to leave bad reviews here. I am not sure where you got that idea. I wish you all the success with...
Read moreReally cute korean pub. Delicious food and tasty drinks. Limited menu and none of the typical fare - not a bad thing. I really liked that it's a different side of Korean culture that wasn't previously offered in Calgary. The pancakes were a bit small and thin but everything else was very tasty. It was a 2 person show running everything, kitchen, take out and front service but they kept up well. It got pretty full later in the evening. I did feel old here with mostly young people filling the tables into the evening but good times nevertheless. The decor was cute made me think of a side alley drinking stall in Asia. They could have played something on the TV or some fun music, it was a bit quiet before more customers showed up. The tv was just a slide show then a static image. Again the staff was busy so they probably didn't notice. Good job in bringing something new, low key, non-pretentious, cultural but not pricey to Calgary. Excellent night out and good value. I can't...
