Minas is a Brazilian Steakhouse that specializes in all you can eat meat. They also serve small individuals portions at the request of the individual. Employees will push around a cart with meat and ask if you would like a cut. This is generally done as an all you can eat method. The location is quiet convenient. The restaurant is nicely decorated and gives off a fun atmosphere. The parking can be a little difficult. Individuals will most likely have to pay for parking at Eau Claire market. As the restaurant only has a few parking spaces up front. The food was great. All of the meat was well prepared. The cuts of steak were juicy. The chicken was tender and the pork wasn't dry. A few select cuts of beef were more salty than others. All of the meat can paired with a variety of sauces. Ranging from hot sauces to more savory flavors. Pairing the meat with the sauces is highly recommended. Paired with the meats are sides. The sides are also unlimited. Sides can range from rice, sashimi, shrimp and much more. Eating the sides will give the taste buds a refresh from eating all the meat. The sides are delicious, be careful not to fill up on them. As it will stop you for eating all the meat. The service was very fluid and quick. The waitresses were always attentive and quick to help. The waitresses will be the ones to take the orders for the sides. However, depending on where you are seated, the meat can take a long time to get to you. The price is reasonable and expected for a Brazilian Steakhouse. It isn't cheap but not overly expensive. If you do not feel like eating a lot, then you may not get your money's worth. Overall, Minas Brazilian Steakhouse is a fun and great way to try a variety of meats. The fun and enjoyable atmosphere make this restaurant a light hearted place to enjoy a meal. Definitely give it a try if you are into eating different types of meat!

Solid 4.5. wonderful environment and due to covid times, the setup is different. They bring the appetizer dishes to you along with serving the meats behind a plastic guarded wheel cart. Highly recommend making a reservation here as it gets busy. It can accomodate a variety of group sizes. The appertifs or technically called churrasco can truly fill you up on its own. You want to try everything there as it stands unique. The servers put the plates together for you in a very appropriate and moderate serving size (these are also unlimited). There isn't a bad choice and would highly recommend trying a bit of everything (especially if you're with a group). The meat skewers come out in front of you and you chose what you want. They proceed to slice a few slices on a new plate for you and your group. The only thing is that some taste rather similar to others (making it hard to differentiate at times). It's also hard to hear what they were and what type of meats (no signs and hard to remember at times). The chicken hearts were mediocre here. The desserts (which was extra costs) was ok but I would stick more towards the churrasco dishes. Seeing sashimi there was the biggest shocker but very tasty. At the front of the store you will also find a small market of Brazilian goods - items you don't normally find in any supermarket and very niche. An authentic experience overall.

In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Calgary. I come to Minas regularly and I have never had a bad experience. On my first visit I was a little intimidated at first not knowing the rules of the rodízio, but the staff quickly made me feel at ease by being so welcoming and genuinely kind. The service here is impeccable regardless of whomever is serving my table that evening. I never saw the bottom of my glass as the servers are always on top of drink refills, retrieval of dirty plates, fresh napkins, you name it and they're on top of it. Now not only is the service here the best in the city, but the food is as well. Whether you're taking part in the rodízio or bar food, it's perfect. You definitely need to pace yourself with the rodízio as you can easily get carried away with so many delicious options. If you choose to go with the rodízio just know that it is not cheap, but it's worth every penny for the food and service you receive. I cannot say a single negative thing about Minas, this place is perfect, and I cannot recommend it enough.

My family of 5 made reservations at Minas for my sons grade 12 graduation, the food and service was great! We showed up 45 min early and they were very accommodating and seated us anyways. The meat was fresh and flavorful, and the majestic salad bar they are also known for, we could not see, (due to COVID-19) and dish ourselves; however, they were speedy with top up and new orders. They were very conscientious of all COVID-19 protocols and even made a special treat for our new grad. This is the 2nd time I have dined at Minas and the 1st experience was just average; although, previously we had reserved for an incredibly busy night and it was later in the evening. Our 2nd experience put Minas back on our foodie map and we will certainly be reserving again in the future. Cool feature: LOVED the little mini Brazilian grocery store right inside the restaurant, we were able to bring some of our favorite treats home with us. Thank you Minas my son had a fabulous afternoon and you were part of it!

This is by far the worst rodizio Of all Brazilian steakhouses I have visited, not to brag about it but I have visited the ones from Brazil (Rio ) to all the way to London (UK). Now I don’t even know where to begin. This is my second visit, the first one was average……. However this second visit, they just dropped the ball…..so here’s the story: After you are seated, They make you wait for what seems forever, then They start offering stuff that I clearly mentioned that I’m not eating. Ordered Diet-Pepsi without ice, well I have received regular Pepsi with ice. The meat came well done cooked. I would not recommend this place to anyone, Pampa’s remain my go to Brazilian steakhouse, It might be a bit more expensive, however the service and food is phenomenal!!!!!!!

We were really craving Brazilian food while visiting Calgary so we were lucky to find this authentic and quaint little spot The front of the building is under construction so id you blink, you will miss the entrance. We opted for the Rosizio option. The hot/cold buffet section had great traditional dishes to choose from At the table we had lots of picanha which is our absolute favourite cut. It was absolutely delicious! We had most of the other meat cuts and all were super tasty. The servers and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Just a wonderful vibe from beginning to end. There’s a little market at the front of the store if you’re looking for imported Brazilian goods. Will come back again! (didn’t get pics of food cuz we were so hungry lol)
