Chachi’s — Restaurant in Coquitlam

i am absolutely distraught and angry on behalf of my best friend, who is devastated by the recent change from shredded lettuce to block lettuce. this change has completely ruined their dining experience. the shredded lettuce was perfect, it added the right amount of crunch and was evenly distributed throughout their meal. now, the block lettuce is cumbersome, uneven, and completely alters the taste and texture of their food. it’s incredibly frustrating to see such an essential part of the meal be changed so drastically. please bring back the shredded lettuce for the sake of loyal customers like my best friend, sarah.

Unfortunately I tried this restaurant for the first time when we had a huge dump of snow in the entire Lower Mainland! I ordered it through Uber Eats and it took about an hour and a half to receive my order. Now I’m NOT faulting Chachis for the delivery time but the sandwich was not quite what I thought it should be either. The pic showed a fat sandwich that was just packed with meats and cheese and other condiments, yet when I received it it seemed a little lacking in the meat department. It was mostly bread and lettuce and that was a real shame because what meat was in there was really good. I can imagine what it would have been like had it been properly dressed. I look forward to another visit. I had the vegetarian sandwich (“the vedge”) and my mom had the blackened chicken Cesar (both were hot, light, fresh & filling… smelled great!)

Better than Arby’s or Quiznos (not greasy at all, tasted homemade).

it was nice & it was tasty, so I will definitely be back again. It’s simple & it’s very flavourful. I want to support healthier & fresher fastfood options in our food court.

They are also a local chain so I like that too. I would definitely use their catering/pick-up options for a work meeting or for a picnic.
