I’ve been to many Opa places and they were all great, except this place is the far worst place I have ever been to. Ordered opa Platter and the rice was soo soggy and clustered, vegetables weren’t that fresh and kinda soggy too and I only had 3 breads. Shouldn’t you get four breads because you cut the circle bread into four pieces? Where is the other piece of bread??? Too bad I didn’t take a picture before I ate. I didn’t even finish the food because they were gross. I also felt that the employees were kind of racist or they just have a bad customer service but I asked for to go, and they didn’t even give me a bag or napkin so I asked for a napkin and the girl employee was looking at me like, “here it is, please leave” kind of attitude and the cashier who was taking orders couldn’t receive a proper order. I actually wanted a ceasar salad, but she didn’t even ask. But guess what, she asked if I wanted double skewers for three dollars, and kept asking like I didn’t understand her. I said I just want single skewers with lamb like three times, she was like you want chicken? And she was like, no, no I mean you can order chicken and lamb. No! I want single lamb skewer!!! Why do you have to be so annoying when I’m trying to be nice to you. And that’s how you guys treat your customers who’s trying to be nice? Trying to annoy customers for that extra 3 dollars huh. Well, you guys absoloutely convinced me not to come back so save your money and time and don’t come here. I’m...
Read moreI visited this place to quickly grab lunch. I paid an additional 0.35 cents for extra Tzatziki sauce. Interestingly, when the Caucasian man behind me requested extra Tzatziki in his pita, the person assisting us had no problem accommodating his request. However, when I received my order, I noticed that I had only been given one container. Politely, I asked if I could have a second container. To my surprise, the staff member raised her voice and exclaimed, "Ma'am, we charge for extra sauce!" It's worth noting that I had already paid for the extra sauce, and it seemed unfair that she had no issue giving it to the Caucasian man without him paying for it. As someone of East Indian descent, I find it disheartening to encounter such instances of racism within our own community. I believe it's important for the establishment to educate their employees on providing fair and equal treatment to...
Read moreWhat atmosphere can you expect from a vendor in a food court? I used to frequent this OPA until my last experience. I typically order a lamb souvlaki wrap with two skewers. The first lamb skewer was "normal" but the girl got the second skewer from somewhere else and it didn't resemble lamb and sure didn't taste like lamb. It was so bad I threw it away and wrote a letter to the owner that my experience was disgusting. I never heard back from the owner(s) and I will NEVER order from OPA in Coquitlam Center ever again. Reg...
