The Lucky Fish Pot (溪雨观酸菜鱼) — Restaurant in Coquitlam

I visited this restaurant and ordered a set meal that, according to the menu, included two sausages and a drink. The sausages were never served. When I asked, the server admitted the menu was “misleading” and said the set actually didn’t come with sausages, and they would update the menu in the future.

To make matters worse, the drink I ordered as part of the set was also never served, even after I finished my meal.

After I raised these issues, the restaurant agreed to charge me for the main dish and side dish separately instead of the set price. We brought our family to The Lucky Fish Pot today and absolutely loved it! The flavors were fresh and natural, without that heavy artificial taste you sometimes find elsewhere. The black fish was super tender, and they even served four side dishes for free. The cold appetizer “Da La Pi” (cold mung bean noodle salad) was so tasty too! We had an amazing time at Lucky Fish Pot in Coquitlam! We’ve been craving sour fish for so long, and we’re so happy they opened up close to us. Parking is super easy with a garage right next door. Prices are very reasonable — we ordered the stir-fried special with basa, and it was enough for two people plus leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
