Togo Sushi — Restaurant in Coquitlam

Went there to get a bento and teriyaki. The food taste average the carrot wasn't even cooked properly. If it wasn't for the teriyaki sauce the chicken would taste horrible. Even my friend can cook better chicken than this. That may not sound that bad, and arugumently this isn't that bad as a resturant. But what gives this place a 2/5 is because I ordered take out and they didn't give me chopsticks, in that case I realized 20 minutes later (I almost drove out of Coquitlam) and I asked for chopsticks. But they said you have to ask for chopsticks, that was their excuse for "forgetting" to give us some. There is no doubt that we need chopsticks, it's literally a "take out" ! What kind of basic logic do you not understand. (we literally have to ask for some soy sauce...

So I have to start with we are very picky about our sushi. Having spent time in Japan we know what good Sushi is. We have walked by this place hundreds of times but never stopped because it was take out Suchi and that is never good. Well we were wrong. With this crazy virus running around the world we are not going any place but essential. This week we had to go the London drugs twice and decided to pick up some Sushi on the way out. Wow it was amazing the quality was top notch, rice was warm and the price was great. We were so impressed that when we went back the next day to London drugs we got take out Sushi a second time and the same quality and...

I wish Coquitlam Centre has better eateries. I ordered the Beef Bento. Price was okay, but the portions were not big. For $15, I only got 4 pieces of California roll instead the standard 6 pieces. I was surprised by the quantity of the beef. It was more than I expected but the beef quality was quite poor. There was also not a lot of rice. Salad was fresh. Service was quick and friendly. It's a small place, and I couldn't find a place to sit, so I had the food to go. I forgot to ask...
