Iāve been to this location several times, but todayās experience compelled me to share my story about the āStore Manager,ā Rica. Unfortunately, it was a very unpleasant encounter. When my friend and I visited, I joined her after she had already ordered. I was simply sitting without my cellphone while we chatted. And my friend was looking at the mugs and cups they have. However, the āStore Manager,ā Rica, kept staring at us for no apparent reason. When I asked her what she was looking at, she responded that she was just doing her store manager job. What job? Oh ensuring customers were ordering drinks. I can hear your voice, so I thought you are going to order something? Excuse me? It was evident that my friend and I were together, and she had already placed an order for both of us.
I told her she was making us uncomfortable, but Rica insisted that making customers uncomfortable was part of her store manager job because she was still. Shortly after, other customers entered, and Ricaās demeanor changed, offering them a smile. However, when she looked at us again, her expression turned unfriendly.
While I understand that Starbucks head office might not be concerned about individual Google reviews, itās important to highlight the way this āstore managerā conducts herself. Despite the busy atmosphere, she focused on us negatively while favoring others. Regardless of oneās title, the primary responsibility should be to ensure customer satisfaction and a positive environment. Unfortunately, this was lacking in Ricaās approach.
Starbucks should consider the impact of such managerial behavior on the overall customer experience. As customers, we expect courtesy and a welcoming atmosphere. Itās disheartening when a āstore managerā exhibits behavior that makes patrons feel unwelcome. I hope Starbucks management addresses this issue to maintain the positive reputation they strive for.

I ordered a tall strawberry matcha with less ice and handed in my personal tumbler. When I got my drink, it wasnāt even half full and still packed with ice! I noticed the total came up to $11.14, which seemed too high for a tall drink. Because of the long wait and the poor service, I didnāt even leave a tip. Out of concern, I called to clarify the pricing ā the person on the phone initially said there was an extra matcha charge, but I never asked for extra matcha. After putting me on hold, she came back and said it was because of a tip ā which I never gave. I explained again that I was unhappy with the service and didnāt leave a tip.
