I ordered the hot stone bibimbap, seafood soft tofu stew, and bulgogi in a stone pot. Although the hot stone bibimbap was $1.50 more expensive, the stone pot wasn’t hot enough, so it felt no different from regular bibimbap. The ingredients were so sparse that it was more like eating rice with some seasoning rather than an actual bibimbap. As for the seafood tofu stew, there was only one shrimp, one mussel, and a few tiny pieces of cheap seafood that were barely noticeable. The most shocking was the bulgogi. When I received it, I was surprised by how little meat there was. After searching, I realized there wasn’t even a spoonful of bulgogi, just a few crumbles of meat. I asked the server about it, and they said that’s the usual portion. When I requested they check with the kitchen, they offered to add more. When they returned with the dish, they asked, “Was the portion too small? We added more. Maybe the kitchen made a mistake.” While they did add more, I found it odd that they asked me if the portion was small, as if it was subjective. Both the server and the kitchen staff should know this, and yet there was no apology for the original mistake, only an attempt to make the portion size seem relative. The service was really disappointing. Additionally, there were spiders crawling on the walls and the floor was dusty. It felt like they were being too stingy with all the ingredients. I don’t think I’ll...

I don’t usually leave the review but this restaurant
 I had to

My wife and I had beef bulgogi stew and Kimchi stew. Omg the beef portion of the bulgogi stew was literally nothing.. and we asked if this is normal. The owner said “Oh maybe the chef didn’t put enough beef in the stew this time, it is different with each person who cooks.”

?? What? No apology, Random Excuse How come she is the owner of the restaurant. I was ashamed to let foreigners to think this is the KOREAN dishes as a proud Korean.

The pork of Kimchi stew had that smell of the frozen meat. Kimchi was not even Kimchi.. side dishes was fishcake and weird radish that don’t even know what it was

Whoever planning on visiting this restaurant, I would definitely consider other restaurants Feels like I flushed my time and money down the drain

I can’t believe I didn’t...

For our first experience at this restaurant we were greeted with warm welcomes. Yet came noticeably short as the service was greatly disappointing. Forgotten an ordered item and had to wait exceeded amount of time because of it. And charging us for items that we didn't intend to buy. We ordered the teriyaki samgyeopsal that was supposed to come with japchae. However, we received the wrong meal but didn't know until we saw the bill and were charged for the side instead of it included in the meal. We weren't given accommodations and had to pay 15$ more than expected. We didn't have a choice. The server was inexperienced and could've dealt with this by communicating with us better. We specifically pointed to the items we wanted when ordering and yet they still made numerous mistakes. Very frustrated with this experience and will...

We walked in without any specific expectations, just hoping to find something comforting and Asian for lunch (you can tell I only had one picture lol). To our surprise, the experience turned out to be quite authentic, and my daughter absolutely adored their spicy seafood tofu soup! The rich, strong flavors of the seafood really shone through, making it a delightful choice. The pork bone soup and stone pot rice (even though the pot wasn’t actually made of stone!) were also quite impressive. Overall, it was a lovely meal that exceeded our hopes!

Stopped by for lunch and ordered the ë–Ąëł¶êž° (spicy rice cake) and ë¶ˆêł êž°êč€ë°„ (bulgogi kimbap). The dishes here won't knock your socks off or make you go home and tell your friends. It definitely just feels like you're visiting some Korean mom's kitchen, eating Korean soul food with substituted Canadian ingredients. In downtown, there isn't much selection for good authentic Korean food, so if you're on Bernard and looking to visit your Korean friend's house. I recommend the Bibimbap if you're new to Korean food!

Seems like a nice little family own restaurant. This was my first time trying Korean cuisine, and I had a pork bone soup, and that was outstanding. Ly good, I was very, very happy. Menu seems classic Korean food and I'm definitely coming back. Service was great, lady was even explaining me things. Because it was my first time trying korean food, so she was very informative, and the only thing is that I was there around four o'clock, so it was empty.
