Starbucks Square One South — Restaurant in Mississauga

04/25/2025 around 3:30pm .... I literally ordered the most simplest drink in the world which was venti latte extra hot. Tell me why it took 30 + minutes for them to make my drink??? Like the fact my son kept walking back in and out of the cafe asking me if it's done. If it's done and I said no not yet. He literally fell asleep on the couch outside of Starbucks. Like if I knew that the baristas were that slow I would not have gone to this location and would have gone to indigo. You can tell that there was no urgency to make the drinks. Not just mine but also mobile drinks. They were just taking their sweet time. They clearly do not know how to sequence drinks. They make one at a time. I was fully watching them... While I was standing that 30+ mins long. Talking, and pulling out their stickers one at a time. Not even caring that their cafe was full of people waiting and their line ups literally outside already. I've seen other cafes and are always sequencing and at least making two to four drinks at a time. Prepping for the next drink. No wonder their reviews are horrible one of the signs not to go to this location, rating with a 3??? They should definitely be a 2.5. As an out of towner just trying to hang out with my mom in town I felt bad she was waiting that loooooong outside. She literally said "why did it take that long like look at your son. He fell asleep waiting for you" embarrassing. 🤦🏽‍♀️ Never again am I going to check this location... Trying to give them a benefit of doubt and I failed again. I guess they're only good at giving out water very fast and drip coffee really fast. If I could I would give this place . 5 star....

We waited 20 min in line today which is Sat at 4:30pm. They only had one cashier open for a busy Sat?? I ordered 2 grande mango dragon fruit w/coconut milk no ice. I was told at the cash that I needed to put ice or else the coconut milk would float to the top. I said that I am aware of that and I have ordered it this way all the time. When our drinks arrived I noticed it didn't have much white indicating the coconut milk. Asked if there was any coconut milk since it looked quite clear. The Barista said that since I ordered it without ice they are required to top 1/3 of the cup up with water so that it makes a full cup. That is the most absurd answer I've ever heard. He showed me that they actually pour 2/3 of a cup of drink and the rest is ice or else they need to top it up with water if there is no ice? I said well that will dilute the drink. The barista said that is a company rule.

Well I cancelled both of them and asked them to do one with light ice and I wanted a refund for the 2nd one. I have always ordered my mango dragon fruit coconut refreshers without ice at many other Starbucks and I have never had anyone top it up with water because I didn't want ice. I believe it is the Square One location who is trying to rip off customers and using that excuse. I will never go to that Starbucks again. They are blatantly ripping off clients by charging $7.05 for a drink and filling it 2/3 full and then topping it off with water. Beware of how much they are filling your drinks with ice! Or to be safe go to...

Worst experice for the first time in 7 years in this location. Yesterday I went to this location and I ordered Mango dragonfruit in grande size with light ice which I paid $7.06 for it. The staff who were a lady by name of Mary told me if you want light ice in it then your drink will be less then the regular size of grande because of light ice, i was shocked and I even said to this staff Mary that there are some people that they have health issues and they don't want ice or they don't like ice how come you give them the drink less even when they pay fully for this size of ther drink? but still she said this is the rule.

I am their old customer since many years and it was first time that this happened with me and you guys can see the picture from my drink which I uploaded that she gave me less drink even with ice in it just bcz I asked for light ice and I paid fully for this drink $7.06 so it means if I don't want ice and I ask for small or grande or other sizes drink without ice then they or she will give me the drink half of the cup.this is really nonsense.

Come on I asked for drink and paid for drink...
