Probably one of the worst customer services experiences I had in a while. I pre-ordered a cake and came to pick it up. My partner and I decided to stay for drinks and have some of the cake. So I ask if we can cut 2 pieces of the cake for us to have it on the spot with the drinks and wrap the rest. The employee refused and tried to sell us the $10 knife set, saying they don’t have knives (very believable in a cafe). After ordering the cake, I asked for forks for us to enjoy the cake while drinking. He gave us a weird look and proceeded to give us just 2 spoons. After getting the drinks, we ask again for forks and after insisting for the metal forks, we were given what we wanted without no tray and no plate. After finishing up, we cleaned up after ourselves as one does, and asked where to leave our used utensils, and the same employee seemed bothered by our question and gave us a plate to put them all, with attitude and an annoyed face. I don’t understand what this fuss was about. Had we gotten the small cake pieces on the spot, we would have gotten a tray, plate and proper utensils because those are what the tables next to us had. Why the different treatment? I am your customer, I preordered a cake because I wanted something specific and didnt want to pass by and not find it. We also ordered drinks to sit down at your cafe. Why the attitude and the mistreatment? Very...
Read moreFavorite study cafe in Montreal!
I can’t express how much I love this cafe. Not only the drinks are delicious and fun, the desserts are delicious and the decoration is on point, but it is also the perfect place to study. They let you sit on any table with your laptop/book for as long as you want (even on the weekends), it’s very spacious so even if crowded you don’t feel overwhelmed, and there is an outlet next to pretty much every table. They play jazz or chill music. Perfect place to chat or study!
But get there early! Especially on Saturdays. They open at 11, if you want a table you gotta get there before 12. This is because since so many students come here, once they get a table and get their laptops out, they will probably be there for at least 3 hours, so the chances a table clears out are low.
Special shoutout to the delicious Oreo scone, the Ube drink and the...
Read moreThis is a little bobba shop with some pastry. The decor is very nice. Everything is smile themed so lots of small animal plushy, plants with faces, very cute. And the music is very relaxing. There's a small sit down area to consume on site.
The staff is very friendly.
Service is a bit slow. We were 4 with 4 drinks 3 pastry. The pastries was ready in minutes since its already made and ready to eat. But the drink took a good 10 minutes.
There is many different pastries and cookies you can eat and they all seems good.
I tried one of the top 9, brown sugar Oreo milk tea with tapioca hot. It was good, sugary as I was expecting it and that's what I wanted so that's good. It was properly hot also.
It's not my type of place but other enjoyed what they...
