A Truly Horrible Experience – Not Worth a Dime
Dining out is supposed to be an enjoyable experience—good food, good drinks, and good service. Unfortunately, this restaurant delivered none of the above. It was, without a doubt, one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, and the main culprit? A disastrous sangria situation that left us shocked, disappointed, and $90 poorer.
We ordered sangria expecting a refreshing, flavorful drink with a clear presence of alcohol. Instead, what we received tasted like watery juice—completely lacking any alcoholic punch. It was bland, cheap-tasting, and absolutely not worth the outrageous price. Even worse, we specifically requested no ice to enjoy the actual drink rather than watered-down filler. What did we get? Glasses packed to the brim with ice, drowning out the already tasteless sangria. It felt like we were scammed, plain and simple.
We brought up our concerns, hoping for at least some acknowledgment or correction. Nothing. No effort to fix the drinks, no apology, no customer care. Just an arrogant attitude and a bill that made our jaws drop. $90 for what could easily be mistaken for supermarket juice poured over ice. There wasn’t even a hint of professionalism in the way our complaint was handled.
Needless to say, we left no tip. Tips are earned, not owed—and this place earned absolutely nothing. From the terrible drinks to the complete disregard for our request and overall experience, it was a total letdown.
This restaurant does not value its customers, and it shows. Save your money, your time, and your tastebuds. There are hundreds of better places where $90 gets you quality drinks and decent service. This wasn’t just a bad visit—it was a...
Read moreThe food is fine? It's just fine. We ordered pork tacos and we were all pretty convinced it was chicken which isn't a great sign?
I will say the vibe here is very strange because the owner/manager is extremely anal about bathroom use.
We witnessed an argument between her, a waitress and a group. One of the women in the group wanted to use the bathroom but the owner complained that she didn't order anything. I'm pretty sure the other members in the group did so I personally would have let her use the bathroom? One of the men in the group had to hand her a $5 bill so that the lady could use the bathroom.
The restaurant was also super understaffed for a Friday night. There were a total of 3 people working during Mural Fest's first Friday.
Later, when I tried to use the bathroom, that same lady stopped me on my way out to question who I was. I had to literally point at our table of 4, with food at it, and say that I was a diner here.
She then proceeded to give me dirty looks from the kitchen/counter any time I got up and when we left.
Responding to owner. I'm sorry you're experiencing vandalism, but I was a paying customer and you specifically made me feel like I was trespassing even after having spent almost an hour eating/waiting for the bill.
You also seem to habitually understaff/overwork your servers as they expressed how stressed they were several times during the meal, apologizing for the long waits while you stood behind the counter...
Read moreFirst off I want to just say that the food is amazing. The guacamole was very good and the tacos I had were great, especially the hot sauce. The margarita I had was also very good. But this was where it stopped.
The menu in this place is just lost. We were told to scan the QR code but then we were also given a different paper menu that was brunch but we couldn’t order the dishes that had eggs. Please just make a menu that includes things such Enchiladas etc. along with the taco menu online.
Next, $18 for 3 tacos with no side is a bit steep. They were very good but perhaps some rice and beans to call it a complete meal? Also, $14 for a small amount of guacamole and chips that was smaller than the picture really was disappointing.
My wife and I were part of a big group and we shared the guacamole, each had 3 tacos and had 2 margaritas and our bill was $100. And the worst part is that we left hungry, as most people did at the table.
The service was also a bit disjointed. Most of the people got tacos and from the first main to the last I would say was 20-30 minutes. There were also hot appetizers, nachos, that arrived after the mains.
This place has all the potential to be a great restaurant, they have delicious food, good drinks, and great location, they just need someone who can take it, revise the menu and work on the...
