First visit on June 1 we had a great interaction with one of the staff and chatted about wildlife in the area. We wanted to look at other shops before making a purchase, so didn't buy anything this day. I did see a heart shaped stone, some mushroom stones, and a few other items that I really liked, so we returned on June 2 with the intent of purchasing a number of items. We located the heart shaped stone I wanted to buy, but it did not have a price on it. I asked a staff member who was nearby sweeping the floors if she could tell me the price as it did not have a price on it like the other stones did.... her reaction left us dumbfounded... she snatched the stone from my hand, and asked me where I got it from, so I pointed to exactly where it had been placed. She told me it was not the same as the other stones and didn't belong there. So I asked again how much it was, and she snapped at me "More than $50 dollars" and walked away, with the heart stone, and resumed sweeping! My husband and I just looked at each other baffled as to what just happened. My intent was to purchase it, even if it was more expensive than the other stones around it.... But she just walked off with it, annoyed that we asked the price, it seemed, and had no intention of giving us an accurate price so we could purchase it. We left the store and did not purchase anything. We were prepared to spend a few hundred dollars on a number of items we saw the day before, but after this interaction we spent our money...

Cons: my wife and i are normal looking 40 something's, we were followed through the store and asked numerous times if we needed help. Everytime my wife picked something up, the lady was running over and just watching us. When my wife put it down, she left. Happened over and over.

I understand theft is a big problem, but the way were followed was very uncomfortable and insulting. Other reviews have also mentioned it.

Note to the owners; you have a very large space there, you have movable shelves, if you re-arranged your store and put your bulk stones and small items on shelves or move the cabinets beside your till, you still offer customers the chance to touch, feel and see the items. You also are closer to the small items and can watch without being blantant and following customers. Where you have your small items now makes no sense. In the far corners of the store turned away from your view.

Having them beside your checkout, gives you the opportunity to engage the customer more friendly, while making the temptation and opportunity to steal far less.

You have nice things in your store, but your customer service and fear of being stolen from is off putting.

Make a few simple changes and you can relieve yourself of some grief and stress.

bought a green stone heart and a shark tooth just recently from this shop, and immediately after buying it; I was asked to show ID so my signature would match the one on the receipt. I was kind of shocked but still complied cause I was never that before, the woman had a condescending smile on but I still didn’t say anything and showed her my ID the women took a few seconds to check and then handed me my items. I also noticed that just a few minutes ago a white person also bought something but they never asked for their ID and I finally realized that I was racially profiled. I was embarrassed and humiliated by this experience. I felt uneasy showing them my support so I went back and returned the item and thankfully the return was easy, also the women was an older wrinkly over 60 white lady who “helped” me check out. The previous review is NOT taking down that photo, I want everyone POC to know that the racist person who accused me of fraudulent.

Edit: diverse staff? All I saw were white faces behind the counter; that woman heart was black and dirty, she has sinned many crimes. The photo was maybe deleted but we all know how she looks. and their is previous bad reviews about the service towards POC So who’s lying....
