If I could give a .5 I would. Got catfished by a "restaurant" My boyfriend and I were having a mini vacation in Niagara Falls. 03/26/23. The second night we were there I was looking up restaurants/sports grill near our bnb and this disaster came into place, the reviews looked great, menu looked great, photos on the reviews etc look great. WRONG. They opened at 6 so we decided to get there around 7ish. We walked over to the "sports bar/grill" if you want to call it that. Iit was such a depressing disaster, my boyfriend said "did you guys just open? the bartender girl said ya I guess. ? Mind you we were the only people in there. First red flag. There was a giant pool table maybe 10 feet away from the door basically in the way, no tables at all, the only table was the "bar" table, 2 guys were mopping and cleaning( thought ya'll opened at 6), place smelt like bathroom. Sadly we sat at the bar and we ask "what's on tap" the bartender said "dunno its my first day so I dunno what we have". I thought ya'll was a bartender, isn't that your job to know what you have? how about you walk 2 feet to the mini fridge behind you and open it? Anyways we asked if they have Bud Light. During this my bf and i were texting like uhhhhh ok. She struggled opening the bottles..? she gave us the bottles and we drank that so quick then we can leave. While we were sadly having our drinks the guy that were mopping were moving folding tables to set up? Tipped that girl 50 cents - the change of our 2 bottles and dipped. Oh even the best part is that they didn't even have food...so the photos and menu is a scam./fake/catfish what have you. We laughed cause it was so damn embarrassing. We went to Red Lobster right after.
Might be a good place to go to if you live in that neighbourhood or were their friends but other then that...

I was staying at a motel with my son in Niagara as I took him there for a reward for having a good report card. We got back in our room around midnight and most food places ar walking distance, were closed. I had a couple of glasses of wine so I wasn't up for driving in search of food, so I decided to order from Skip.
I was first upset that there were no utensils in the bag. If an order is going to a hotel/motel, that should be a given. I had to search my car for a plastic fork which I thankfully found.
Unfortunately it got worse from there. The food was poorly made. their version of paneer was overcooked. the sauce was ok but the paneer should have been softer and all white. It had grill marks and was tough in texture to eat. I ordered pasta and it was dry and the meatballs were tiny, hard and old... dried up. It lacked flavor and was extremely disappointing. The popcorn chicken was most upsetting. It was not authentic popcorn chicken but little pieces of cut up and seemingly pan fried chicken. My child has food aversions and expected mini nuggets but it was far from that. I was left with nothing to feed him. I brought it home for my dog to eat.
Got free shrimp torpedoes. The only thing I finished eating yet still disappointing. Way overcooked! Please consider hiring a trained chef. The menu potential is there but the food was disappointing. Still upset I wasted $50 on this meal. I will be sharing this on Google reviews. Never been so disappointed with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLong story short: 3 of us went in late at night and asked if the kitchen was still open. Was told yes. Great. Ordered 2 cheeseburgers and 1 burger. When they came out, the owner just showed the 3 styrofoam take-out containers and quickly put them in a bag and started tying it up. I said that we were hoping to just eat at the bar and then took them out of the bag. I bit into my "cheeseburger" and discovered there was no burger. Just cheese with lettuce and tomato. The other "cheeseburger" was the same. I figured it was a mistake and showed the owner (who took our order) and he pretended to think that a cheeseburger meant just cheese. It was close to closing and we were tourists there on a Saturday night. He clearly figured we would go home and discover his fraud too late. The one burger that he did give us didn't look that great either. The poor waitress was horrified as she watched this pathetic guy pretend not to know what a cheeseburger is. In the end I probably saved myself from food poisoning anyway. The guy looked like the chef from You Can't Do That...
