Quite the improvement on this location. The change in management if there was one really made a difference. Or perhaps this is one place that listens to the their customers. Pleasant experience with the desk. The room was cozy. Two beds, I didn't see any type of bugs in the room. Had a fridge, kept my drinks nice and cold. The breakfast was limited, but excellent. Friendly staff. No issues at all. Coming back a second time was nice to see the changes. Will give them another try in summer. Great, great improvements. ----------------------------------------------------------------- MY REVIEW TWO YEARS AGO IS BELOW, I GAVE IT 1/5 STARS ---> It's absolutely a shame that this industry allows people like these to run this business to the ground. I've never seen such disrespectful people ever. They speak in their own language in front of you, not English or French. They made me and my daughter wait for clean towels. CLEAN TOWELS, that they had to go do laundry for when they had a total of five guests in the pool. The rooms are so filthy and so neglected I want to get the health department involved now. What's worse, they let their staff go in the pool and sauna, WHILE guests and small children, paying guests I may add, are using these facilities. I don't know if theu think this is a third world country, but surely Canada reputation is smeared with this people running this property. Avoid? AVOID at all costs. Once I figure out how to post the pictures you'll see.

Hope Google reads all reviews!!! There should be an option for negative stars too !!! This is my honest review, I'm not biased or trying to put anyone down. This place is not one which I would recommend to anyone - we have stayed in many hotels over the years and this one is the lowest of lowest. Booked for 2 nights here via Booking.Com and thought all was well. As soon as we checked in all our faces dropped. The room had a strange odour and look to it. Paint peeling off, broken doors hastily repaired, slippery and dirty feeling bathroom, power outlets hanging etc etc. We immediately started looking for another place and found one just 500 meters away. The bed creaked and was sloping and this only added to our disgust. We did not find any bedbugs though as the reviews suggested. The pool looked clean at first glance but on closer inspection it was dirty. The only silver lining was a good warm breakfast- not packed as other hotels are doing. When we checked out early the person at the reception did not seem to bother. It seemed like a lot of guests were doing that and they wanted no discussion. It felt like they had someone waiting to take the room - double dipping I guess. Parking was a mess too and people were parking any and everywhere. It's not a place for families - people looking a real cheap option would like it.

I enjoyed the all around aesthetic outside the complex and around the building interior and exterior my issues dwells in my room being in disrepair regarding how theirs loose wires not covered being visible from me ceiling were a fire alarm suppose to be aswell as having washroom sinks with chipped paints hand smudges on the wall to dirty bed sheets with stains and bleach that's acceptable for guest to sleep on no thanks. Staff were there 24 7 yet they weren't helpful when I'll phone the front desk stating my issues and concerns it'll fall on deaf ears passed on by sticky notes and forgotten without a follow up. They have a swimming pool and other ammentities but the swimming pool wasn't operational this week because they were focused on construction or something else they had going on that took away of managing the pool this weekend. Breakfast was complementary and was decent with a bagel eggs sausages potatoes and bread. Area was decent was a quick walk to Niagarafalls. I would come here again if I had a better up to date room all an all i enjoyed my stay was quite until a room full of kids and parents arrived next door on my last stay. I fortune got no sleep

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at what can only be described as a repulsive Motel. My experience was so dreadful that I feel compelled to share my thoughts and warn others to steer clear of this establishment.

Let's begin with the cleanliness, or rather the lack thereof. Upon entering my room, I was immediately greeted by a foul odor that lingered throughout my entire stay. The carpets were stained and sticky, and it seemed as though they hadn't been vacuumed in ages. The bathroom was no better; it was filthy, with mold and mildew covering the walls and a lingering stench that made me question the hotel's commitment to basic hygiene.

The condition of the amenities was equally revolting. The bedsheets were stained and threadbare, making me cringe at the thought of sleeping on them. The pillows were flat and lumpy, providing no comfort whatsoever. The furniture in the room was worn out and falling apart, giving the impression that the hotel had never invested in proper maintenance.

The service at this establishment was abysmal. The staff members were unhelpful and indifferent, showing no interest in addressing my concerns. When I attempted to voice my complaints, I was met with apathy and dismissive responses. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them.

The overall atmosphere of the Motel was gloomy and depressing. The common areas were poorly lit and neglected, creating an unwelcoming ambiance. The lack of any decent dining options or recreational facilities further contributed to the dismal experience.

To top it all off, the location of the Motel was far from ideal. It was situated in a sketchy neighborhood, with little to no access to public transportation or nearby attractions. This made it incredibly inconvenient for me to explore the city and enjoy my stay.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against staying at this repugnant hotel. The lack of cleanliness, dismal amenities, terrible service, gloomy atmosphere, and unfavorable location all contribute to an absolutely dreadful experience. Save yourself the disappointment and look elsewhere for accommodation that actually values its guests' comfort and...

We were referred to this hotel from a neighbouring hotel that was overbooked. We were promised a room that was quiet, on a higher level, and of the same quality as the original one we booked.

There's NO WAY this motel meets minimum Health & Safety standards.

We showed up to a room with what looked like puke on the carpet in multiple areas, filth literally hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, water damage all over the ceiling of the bathroom, the bathroom vent fan was falling out and probably not up to code, even the table wasn't even wiped down, stains on the comforter and the pillows, stains all over the carpet, no working lights in the room at all, there was a shutter door in our room just leaning against the clothes rack - not there for any purpose, there was a gap in the front door where the hinges attach the door to the building wall and they stuffed newspaper in the crack and taped it with clear and duct tape.

This room was absolutely disgusting and there was NO WAY we were staying there. We took photos and immediately went back to the front desk to get our money back so we can find another hotel to stay at.

The incredibly rude owner of the motel first acknowledged that the room we were in was filthy and offered us $80 back if we would stay in the room. We refused. He then offered us $20 back if we stayed in another room (We paid $165 for one room with two queen beds for one night). We went to go see the other room but decided that we couldn't trust the cleanliness anywhere in this motel and asked for our full refund. After about half an hour of discussing these issues and demanding our money back we agreed to take $60 back in order to leave the motel completely. We were exhausted at arguing at this point and ended up taking the money and leaving. We ended up getting a beautiful room at the Best Western on Lundy's Lane.

The owner of Niagara Lodge & Suites charged our credit card the next day with the full $165 claiming we "never showed up" to the motel. We plan on fighting this because we WERE there and took a ton of photos to prove the condition of the room.

Please be warned! NEVER STAY IN...

I really dont know where to start when describing this place. If you MUST stay at the falls, and NOTHING else is available, find a public washroom and sleep on the floor. It will be CLEANER, BETTER MAINTAINED, more up to date, have fewer foot prints and hairs in places these they shouldnt be! I SOOO wish I could post the pictures of the ACTUAL room to be added with the promo pictures we viewed when booking here. It was ATTROTIOUS. Any other place drug addicts and hookers would be ashamed to stay here yet we paid over 100 USD j Our first room was a train wreck to say the least. paint pealing everywhere, fill the piles on the floor boards from YEARS of neglect. I swear this place was abandoned in the 20th century, bought, reopened and they threw on some dirty linens and opened it for business. It had a TV that didnt work on the wall, one that 'kinda did' on the dresser hap hardly in front of it. 3 remotes in the room and it only got 1 channel. The blow drier didnt work but I assume the plunger under the sink did and was necessary.

Room number two the TVs were fixed, kinda. still 3 remotes, one turned off and on, another changed volume and channel I have no idea what the third did. The paint was better but the ceiling suffered from a leak above maybe 20 years ago. the tiles were a mess and at some point apparently a hand full of toilet paper was a temporary (pronounced still there) solution.

This places business model DEPENDS on the fact that millions of new tourists will come to town every year. I find it impossible to believe ANYONE would stay here twice. I am very suspicious of any positive review given this place as homeless shelters maintain a higher standard.

I mentioned hairs in strange places. . . we found several in the MINI FRIDGE! How does THAT happen!?

This place is a complete and total dump. If you stay in a wash room and are only peed on twice, you are better off. This is an abreviated review, trust me.

I desperately wish I could post ACTUAL photos I took of the room to include with...
