Today is our 1 year anniversary and my husband surprised me with a mini-getaway to Niagara Falls. After checking in it was almost 9 pm and we decided to give TGI Fridays a chance, especially since we had a $20 voucher (with the purchase of 2 entrees). We chose to order takeout as we are still not comfortable to dine-in during COVID-19. My husband ordered the buffalo chicken fries ($24) and I ordered the chicken fingers ($19). The menu stated that 17% gratuity was charged for groups of 6 or more. We were advised that gratuity would be charged, which we were fine with; however, we were a bit surprised that 17% was charged, considering it was take out and there is minimal service. We were advised it would take 15 minutes, so we waited in the lobby; however it took more than 25 minutes. I confirmed that we were provided with cutlery and ketchup and headed back to our hotel.
We were disappointed with the fries, which were dry and stale, and inedible without ketchup - whereby we were provided with only 3 packets (for 2 orders with fries)! The last straw was the buffalo chicken fries, which came with 3-4 strips of grilled chicken - combined, it was less than 1 chicken finger. We called to inquire if the portion was supposed to be so small and were advised that it was supposed to be 4 oz chicken - I knew it would be overpriced due to the location, but still we were shocked. The staff informed us that they may replace our buffalo chicken fries; however, we chose to decline as it was almost 10 pm and we didn't want to wait another half hour for one of our dinners, especially since it wasn't great in the first place. My husband ended up eating most of my chicken fingers and I ate the fries until I ran out of ketchup. What a...
Read moreTGI Fridays in Niagara Falls is a solid choice for those looking to enjoy a casual meal in a fun, upbeat atmosphere. Conveniently located near the bustling attractions of the Falls, it’s a great spot to relax and recharge after sightseeing. The menu offers a wide range of American classics, including juicy burgers, sizzling steaks, and their famous appetizers like the loaded potato skins and mozzarella sticks, which are always a hit.
The ambiance is lively, with vintage décor and a laid-back vibe that fits the tourist-friendly setting. However, due to its location, it can get quite busy, especially during peak hours, which sometimes affects wait times and service speed. Despite this, the staff is generally friendly and tries to keep up with the crowds.
One downside is that the prices can be a bit on the higher side compared to other locations, likely due to the tourist area. Nevertheless, the portion sizes are generous, and the food quality is consistently good, making it worth the visit.
Overall, TGI Fridays in Niagara Falls is a reliable spot for a casual meal with a fun atmosphere, perfect for families and groups looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle...

No greetings just walked by as if we weren't there. Finally, when I spoke up 1 said we close in hour so you can only get takeout, I replied that's fine I only want a drink and she said we are closing.
The 2nd staff member walking In our direction I said hello, she replied without a hi... "you only have take out option"
I said we just came for a quick drink or two. Server: well if you can find an empty seat at the bar then sit but I doubt you will
We were embarrassed at how we were treated and it was pretty disappointing.
So we left and I'm glad we did because my husband would have left a big tip for people who probably wouldn't have...
