XXX *** XXX ** Covid is over and no Dine in but the dog is allow there ? A SMALL DOG IN THE KITCHEN AND RESTURANT ** AVOID THIS RESURTANT COVID IS OVER STAFF DONT ALLOW TO DINE IN ? THEY HAVE A DOG RUNNING AROUND IN THE RESTUARNT A SMALL WHITE DOG HOW UNSANITARY THE OWNER WAS CLEANING UP PEE ( YELLOW STUFF ON THE FLOOR) ** There are many hygienic implications of allowing dogs in restaurants that can’t be ignored even if mentally and physically, the presence of dog. The dog would have to be taken outside regularly to avoid having accidents. Even still, in loud or stressful situations like a busy restaurant floor, accidents could still happen. I Like the old owners the new owners have no respect for Sanitation of dog peeing inside dinning/Kitchen area I guess the Staff were busy and if you have to go you have to go . XXXX *** The FOOD SAFE BC Health Inspector has been called lets see if they do anything .. stay away for now I would give them zero stars if we could.. We ordered 4 dishes and it was gross and we took it back to the Chinese Resturant left on the front to feed there dog ** Chinese food taste like dog foood it was gross -:(

Used Uber Eats. Ordered wor wonton soup. That is not what I received. There is no description of the dish and the person on the phone said the “ picture” was not correct when I called to complain there was no broth or vegetables . She tried to tell me this is what wor wonton is and I should have ordered regular wonton soup. I told her to give me a break. . It was a mass of glutenous liquid. No vegetables and the pork was a piece of fat. I was so grossed out I did not trust what the wontons were made of. The fish (one little piece) was dubious as well. The chow mein was also a greasy mess. I’m sure the dry pork ribs were from a bag of frozen Costco items. I’d take a pass. Will not order again. Should have relied on a 3.8 star. They need to do better. Bright side uber credited my soup.

Even though we came in at 8:10 p.m., they were very welcoming. We are from the Midwest, so possibly our Chinese food experience is not as refined. But never have I had such delicious hot and sour soup with so many different ingredients and flavors. We also had the Szechuan shrimp and Chicken and cashew. The soup and the dishes contained whole shrimps. Great fresh ingredients and the flavors came through wonderfully. We also had two beers. So two entrees, the soup, the beer, the tip, and we still ate for less than $36/person.

My two friends and I entered the restaurant and waited to be seated at the front. The servers chatted by the kitchen while one brought food to the one table that had customers in the restaurant. After awhile of standing there we went to go and seat ourselves, this finally got a servers attention, pointing us to a table. We took a seat and went through the menu. After about 15 minutes the server came to take our order. We waited another 20 minutes before our drinks were brought, a simple order of a couple bottled beers. 20 minutes later she brought the spring rolls we ordered. They were the frozen kind out of a box from the super market with some individual packets of sauce dumped to the side of the table. Another 40 minutes later until our food started to arrive, at this point we were all hungry and getting a little annoyed at the poor service. My two friends received there food first, i tried theirs and it tasted pretty good, standard Chinese food nothing special but huge portions. I received my meal and was shocked at the difference, it was basically uncooked mr.noodles with oil dumped on top of some of it, a couple pieces of steamed broccoli and a couple pieces of steamed shrimp. As you can imagine it tasted awful, i tried to get the servers attention unsuccessfully for ten minutes before she came to our table. I asked if she had some sauce i could put on my food, she said no we don't have sauce. I asked if there was anything because my food did not taste good. After awhile of speaking to her she brought some soy sauce over. I tried that but it still was still inedible. i placed it to the side of the table, she came over, and i apologized but i was not paying for that. The server began to yell at me getting the attention of everyone in the restaurant, she said this is not what we do in Chinese restaurants. I said you are providing a service and this service has been unacceptable. She said this is not what happens at Chinese restaurants, i said does she not want her customers to be happy with the quality of food, so they return? She said no that is not how we do it here. She yelled at me for a good while, saying they will make me something else but i have to pay. At this point i was humiliated and frustrated agreed for her to make something else. She came back with a plate of noodles that was better then the first meal. I myself work in the customer service industry and have never been treated with so much disrespect as the server did. This was my first experience ever returning food to a kitchen but the quality was far below par. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone ever, and most definitely will not...

Very disappointed. I went there with my family to get lunch because they want to eat some chinese food(it’s there first time in vancouver, in this case North Vancouver). I thought was an authentic szechuan food so I decided to take my family there.

When we arrived, We waited for a little for some to seat us. Nobody came up. Then I walked to the counter and said “Hello” for several times(yelling to the kitchen). There was customers eating and they told “you can take a seat first, the lady(server) went to the kitchen”. I said no, because we were 6 people and the table were separate by 2-4. I think is not very nice to enter a restaurant and start moving tables.

After few minutes and we decided to seat. The lady never came until I went to get the menu to my family.

The FOOD: It was way too greasy than normal chinese restaurant. I expected to be greasy but not like this restaurant. I forgot to take photos of the food

We ordered an spicy plate that wasn’t spicy at all.

The lady wasn’t friendly as it said on these reviews.

The END: When I went to pay the bill: Me: may I get the bill? The lady: Do you have cash? Me: Do you accept any cards payment? (There was a card payment machine) The lady: It’s preferable to pay with cash Me: Don’t you accept visa card? The lady: Do you have debit? Because it’s better to pay with cash or debit. (and blah blah blah about the bank charges more with credit, I didn’t get it) Me: I only have credit card with me.

After all that she insists me to pay in cash or debit. And I clearly said I only have visa card with me. She finally accepted my credit card.

Buuuut that’s not the end. The end is beside the food is average chinese food, bad service(or not you dont get service at all) and you must pay 10% for tip(the lady obligated me to pay that amount when I only want to pay 5% just because she bring...

Unfortunately, I just had a pretty bad experience with this restaurant. Trying to impress the in-laws visiting from Ontario with at least decent chinese food, based on the 4.3 star rating, we called in to place a takeout order and were told it would take a while for delivery because they were busy. At the end of the conversation when I asked how long it would be, the lady on the phone hung up on me. I assumed it would be roughly an hour or just over an hour since they were busy. I called about 1.5 hours in to find out when it would be delivered and was told the driver had to go to the highlands and then to west Vancouver before delivering our food, and that it would arrive 'soon'. (The driver told a different story and assured me the food wasn't cold from sitting in the car for an hour).

Nearly two hours later the food was delivered cold and missing sauce for our chicken (pretty unimpressed at this point, I called again and asked to have it delivered).

Overall the food was subpar and the customer service was lacking. I honestly rarely give a bad review unless its warranted and I'm sure there's plenty of other above average chinese restaurants on the North...
