Terrible service. You walk in and expect somebody to greet you but they never do you literally have to walk around and ask where you should sit. Then if you need something and you get up to ask for it ( because the only waitress stays in the kitchen the whole time everytime) they treat you like how dare you get up to ask and make you go sit down like you've done something wrong. I've stopped eating here because of the rude service. The last time I ate here my food was literally thrown together. I got 2 burnt Spring rolls and my vermicelli bowl was filled with water at the bottom because they couldn't even bother to dry the lettuce. My main issue with this place is the absolute rude service. One time they overcharged me by $5 and then told me they would reimburse me the next time I came in which they didn't. Another time I came in in the winter time the heat was not on at all it was absolutely freezing cold in the restaurant while the waitress was walking around with her heated electric jacket on. Then the last time I went there it was a nice summer night. It was around 9 o'clock and still warm out. The waitress that was wearing the heated jacket in the winter didn't want people sitting outside because she was cold. I insisted to sit outside and multiple other people wanted to sit outside as well. After being seated and having our order taken we never got service again. Honestly sick of the rudeness. I won't be going back here again. Clearly customers are not important to them as they seem more concerned about their own comfort than...

This hidden gem of a Pho spot truly exceeded all expectations. From their convenient operating hours, extending until midnight, to the impeccable quality of their dishes, there's nothing but praise to offer.

The soup portions are perfectly sized, and the sandwiches make for convenient, quick bites. For those craving a classic beef soup, #41 is an absolute must-try. Meanwhile, if you're in the mood for a veggie-packed delight, #56 is the way to go.

The appetizers are a delight, with the spring rolls and salad rolls accompanied by a delectable peanut sauce that's simply irresistible. Their Guza and deep-fried squid are equally delightful additions to any meal.

Don't miss out on their Vermicelli options, especially #63 and #66 for those who love prawns. The fried rice #90 and Hawaiian #92 offer tantalizing flavors that won't disappoint.

For those craving something heartier, the Chicken Chow Mein #73 and the Grilled Short Ribs #99 are sure to satisfy any appetite, even your furry friends won't be able to resist!

The staff here are incredibly attentive and friendly, contributing to a fast-paced yet welcoming environment. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, the prices are reasonable, making it accessible to all.

In conclusion, if you're on the hunt for a fantastic Pho spot that won't break the bank, look no further. This place offers an unforgettable dining experience that's sure to keep you coming...

Vnam restaurant is an absolute gem in the heart of the city. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance. The menu offers a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients.

One standout dish is their pho, a traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. The broth is rich and aromatic, and the tender meat and fresh herbs make for a truly satisfying bowl. Another must-try is their banh mi, a Vietnamese sandwich filled with savory meats, pickled vegetables, and a generous spread of homemade sauce. The combination of flavors and textures is simply divine.

The staff at Vnam restaurant is attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer recommendations or answer any questions you may have. The service is prompt, ensuring that your dining experience is smooth and enjoyable.

The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, with subtle nods to Vietnamese culture. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner with friends and family.

Overall, Vnam restaurant is a delightful culinary experience that transports you to the vibrant streets of Vietnam. With its delicious food, friendly staff, and charming ambiance, it’s definitely a place...

Do not waste of your time and energy. REALLY horrible experience + super RUDE !!!!!!!! 1 star is even waste. Old lady didn't serve anything. She did not ask anything below. 1. where we seat 2. do we need any water or drink 3. can i get your order 4. thank you or sorry 5. do you want to pay This place, everything is self service with rude-old lady. Me and my friend visited here on Monday, 11.30am ish when place were not busy at all. and There are not many people were inside. but we were so happy to eat pho simply as others as usual lunch time. when we got in, She didn't even look at us(There were only 8 people). so we just seat on window side and waited menu. She didn't ask anything, we had to hands up and order food like self service. but it's ok until this. I went to washroom to wash my hands, woman toilet is very lower and it's weird to seat on it. I didn't like washroom but I thought if food is great, it's all good. and we ordered, 2 pho(1 rare, 1 cooked beef) and 1 rice wrap. and waited and soup came after 15 min. but there are no sauce, no basil leaf or sprout. we thought she is busy , so we waited 5 min to give to us. and she still don't serve anything. we asked , can we have sprout and basil, i think you forgot. and she said "just wait." with weird tone and face. and she put dish on our table with sound. and we thought did we something done wrong. and we tried to eat soup but because we wasted another 10 min, eventually soup became cold and I asked her to microwave because beef is still bleeding and became cold. and she blame on me like " it's because you put sprout on your soup! " and just walk away to kitchen and talk her language with kitchen people. and gave me back dish after 1min. Soup was not hot, but it's okay I eat, because beef cooked. but we still waited our rice wrap menu.. we asked when we get rice wrap. . . and she gave us after we ask.. which rice wrap came after 30 min... We got confused and it's very first time that we get rice wrap after dinner. Usually other restaurant serve as appetizer. anyway.. she did not say any sorry or thank you or water or anything to us. We did not have a chance to drink any water or tea or anything as she never asked us. And She was not happy to help my cold soup to warm it up. She blame on me that I put sprout on my soup, so it became cold soup. Ha ha Unbelievable service that I've ever seen in Vancouver. I lived here about 10 years. I am shocked. I reviewed this place on my blog channel as well. (BTW total food was $45 + tip., I did not pay tip at this place. but still soup are so tiny, rice wrap has nothing much, and charge high price. Flavor was good? NO! Flavor is just normal, not higher taste or lower taste. just normal flavor of soup that you will expect.

Got the special pho noodles and it was amazing! Paired with the avocado smoothie is perfection. The smoothie was actually blended smoothly, unlike other places that don't blend it enough and leave it icy. About $15 for a small bowl of Pho. The food and drinks here are top notch and delicious! Keeping you coming back for more. Just picked up a cold cut Viet sub for lunch and it's also on par with the rest of the excellent food(eat it there after freshly toasting, if you bring it home, toast it for~2-3 min to re-crisp it)! Keep up the great work! Everyone should try this place out! The chicken vermicelli is also delicious. Generous helpings and great honest prices. Also try the mango smoothie with coconut jelly if you want to treat yourself. Customer service is also great, friendly and fast. Last but not least, the Viet spring rolls are awesome and crispy/chewy, perfection. The Chinese spring rolls are crispy too. They give you both with the vermicelli. Other restaurants only have one or the other. It's awesome they have both and give you both, in addition to them being very well made! A gem in North Van!
