We ordered for delivery and received a call from the store advising is that they were out of an item. We requested a substitute and were told there would be a $1.35 + TAX surcharge to substitute an item. We immediately called customer service and were told by "Kaif" that there would in fact be a surcharge for a substitute, therefore we cancelled the order.

Moments later we started receiving calls from someone claiming to be the "Owner of Pizza Nova", and we requested they not call and harass us any further, to which, unfortunately, the issue escalated to where we had to call Customer Service yet again for assistance in having the harrassing calls from Pizza Nova on 1 Warren Avenue cease.

This is all due to one of their sauces being unavailable, and requesting one being substituted with another. Yes, for simply opening a large jar, pouring some BBQ sauce into a small dip cup and placing a lid on it they were going to change is an additional $1.35 + TAX on top of what we already were being charged for the item we had paid for which was already included with our purchase!

I almost never write reviews but felt this had to be shared. We never order from Pizza Nova but I got a flyer in the mail and their Honey Stinger pizza caught my eye. Decided to order delivery. First notice was the high price - more than $20 for the small (6 slices) deluxe pizza that we also ordered. Pizza arrived later than expected time and was lukewarm at best. Driver forgot the pizelle cookies (I’ll give her credit, she did go back to the store to get them and made a second delivery, that is the only reason I gave 2 stars and not 1.) The Honey Stinger boasts “hot sopressata and hot honey sauce” but it was completely flavourless. Not even a hint of heat. The deluxe pizza looked like it had been dropped, was cut into crazy slices, and had the thinnest, slimiest, most undercooked crust I’ve ever seen. I actually put it back in my oven to try and salvage it. Overall, very dissatisfied, especially for the price, and won’t be ordering from here again. Incredibly disappointed. Pizza Nova use to be one of our favourites but the last few times it has just been “alright”. After today I won’t be ordering again. I ordered two pizzas and one of them had a missing premium topping. I called customer service right away who told me I could have five dollars off my next order. I asked if they could Just make my pizza correctly and send me a new one as it wasn’t cheap. After a few minute wait (as he had to call the store) he told me he could and it would be here in 45 minutes and that I needed to send the original pizza back to show my topping was missing. So I originally ordered pizza at 4:30 now at 6:20 my pizza finally comes and would you believe it wasn’t even worth it.
