Customer service has been horribly pathetic. Will never order again. On 2 seperate occassions we have ordered delivery through skip the dishes that resulted in missing items in our order. Todays incident when speaking with the restaurant they then advise me that yes the courrier left a bag behind but now they have to make me a new batch which will take over a half hour because they gave the missing parts of our order to another customer! The staff on the phone showed no care or concern of how that was poorly handled. So now we will have to wait another hour to receive the missing items by the time they get delivered. The first incident a couple months back was also similar we were missing items. We called the restaurant to advise them and then had decided we would pick the items up. When we arrived we were told that they were given to another customer "in error" between the time that we got off the phone and arrived and they were eagerly preparing us "fresh" ones. We had to wait over 20 minutes. Again no care or concern or empathy shown for their mistake. No care that we went out of our way to pick it up despite having odviously chosen to use delivery for our convenience to basicly have wait because they gave our order away. And order we had already paid for and expected to be delivered to our door. We tried to brush off the poor customer service from the first incident as we find the food good but now a 2nd time that just displayed horrible service and sadly we will not be...

I've been here a few times and it's honestly such an underrated spot! I consider it a hidden gem in Durham because the quality is so good and I never have any complaints. There aren't many spots in Durham that can deliver an authentic quality gyro like this. Probably the closest spot you can get authentic gyro if you're not willing to drive to the Danforth. The chicken and pork mix gyro hits every time and my grandparents loved it after trying it for the first time. I like that they put fries in it as well, they were fresh too and not soggy/old. The Tzatziki was delicious too, the owner told us he makes his homemade Tzatziki fresh every day...which didn't surprise me. It's a nice thing to hear because it's very important to nail the Tzatziki if you want to stand out from the competition. The preparation was quick and the food was reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly as well, and the inside dining looked nice to sit in and eat. Santorini Gyros never disappoints and I recommend you give...

I'm gonna assume that some of these good reviews are here because some folks just can't cook or the chef has changed over a few months OR some reviewers just have no experience with actual good food. I listened to the reviews and visited the store. I ordered a pork wrap. I've had many wraps at other restaurants before and this pork was the driest ever! It also lacked proper seasoning. I asked for the fries on the side and I was given cold fries. I was the only one in the restaurant and the service was still extremely slow. I was so disappointed. The staff was very pleasant so I hoped for the best but the food was not great. My advice: Do not allow the meat to dry out so much. Pork should be juicy. Use some MORE of the relevant spices AND sufficient salt for marinating. Give customers hot fresh fries. Add some more toppings/veggies in the wrap instead of just loading it with dry meat and excess sauce. Work on speed! The meat is already cooked and fries cook fast...

Our in laws brought us dinner tonight. They asked us what we wanted to try and I decided to try Santorini’s. I read some good reviews and felt hopeful to eat some delicious Greek food. Sadly that wasn’t the case. Home fires are not fries… they’re round little breakfast potatoes. They’re lukewarm, oily/greasy and soggy and not very flavourful. Very disappointed as we thought we were getting crispy French fries with flavourful Greek sauce/dressing/toppings. Secondly, the gyros were bland and soggy. Not very flavourful. Calamari was very salty and greasy. The only thing that was great was the Greek salad which was 10/10. Our meals were very subpar. We wouldn’t recommend this place to friends and family.

Edit: I used to eat here regularly. The restaurant was then closed and purchased by new owners. The new menu has more dishes on offer, and they are very friendly but they have made changes. I see a lot of old reviews from people who used to order the same thing as me, the Pork Gyro. It's no longer on the menu. I ordered the beef and lamb instead, and while it was good quality, I'm just not a fan of the other meats in a Gyro. So I sadly won't be ordering from here anymore. Best Greek food in Oshawa! They even have the best poutine as well! Must visit if you love a good gyro!
