Noodles are hand pulled on the spot so of course they are amazing, the beef in the soup was very tender and flavourful, however… the broth itself was not tasty at all, very watery and bland specially since we ordered the Spicy version which had no kick at all.

We ordered two Chinese Meat Hamburgers one spicy and one not spicy, again… no difference between spicy and not spicy since both were not spicy at all however the meat was really good basically the reason why I’m giving Le Mien 2 stars… other than this and the noodles itself I would be giving them 1 star since .5 is not possible.

The staff was ok when we arrived, they accommodated us and our toddler however when the food arrived my husband wanted some chili oil to help the bland broth and it literally took between 5 and 10 mins for someone to make eye contact with us and realize we needed something, I also ordered a Diet Coke which was never brought to the table, we even forgot about it as well and when we left we checked the bill and the coke was charged (our bad for not checking I guess, but still not very good service).

We have tried a few different noodle places and they are way better than this place by far (179 George St and the other one on Somerset and Bank both AMAZING).

I honestly dunno if something was going on in the kitchen today but the the soup wasn’t as good at all as described on other reviews… definitely a total...

Food Experience, delicious, however was completely ruined by the service of one particular staff. We had a few questions about the menu, which I would assume is typical of someone not familiar with the cuisine, she made it clear she was an eye roller, rushed the service, interrupted the other server constantly, tossed the scissors at us. As we came close to end our meal, we noticed that a table of five came in, thinking we would be kind and wrap things up so they could accommodate them, so we asked for our bill and take our leftovers home. She brought the machine with no food bill, so we asked for the receipt. She told us to pay and we would get a debit receipt, I told her I'd prefer to look at our bill before paying. She was clearly irritated by this, and I had to repeat my request. She grabbed the receipt, it fell in spilled soup on the table and she waved it in front of us and said there you go. As we packed up our things to go, she stared at us impatiently, we thanked her regardless. Her only impressive quality was she was trilingual. We will go back for the food, but not to watch her mistreat her...

Got the braised beef and tendon noodles for takeout and was happy with the food and service. I literally watched my noodles get pulled and cooked before my eyes as I waited.

If you're ordering in store, the server meets you at the front, pumps some hand sanitizer in your hands before handing you the menu. I appreciate the attention to safety here.

The food was packed in separate containers and the noodle and soup containers had a sticker for microwave times. I'd go with whatever you think is appropriate though because the soup boiled over for their suggested 3 minute time. The portion size was generous. Noodles were great texture, soup had a nice five spice meaty flavour but was a bit too oily. The beef and tendon were flavourful, although some of the tendon pieces could've been cooked longer. Their chili oil is very fragrant too but not spicy for my taste.
