1919 KITCHEN + BAR — Restaurant in Regina

We are staying at the Delta and decided to try this restaurant for dinner last night. The bison ribeye was mainly good... Except that I had ordered it medium rare and it was very rare, almost blue in the middle. The lobster butter was served rock hard and cold sitting on top of the ribeye. The meal was mainly good, but for the price it definitely could have been better. The service was not the greatest. The restaurant was empty and the waiter was initially quick to take our orders, and the food came out in decent time. But after we finished eating he completely disappeared and we were sat just waiting for our bill for about 15 or 20 minutes after our plates had been cleared from the table.

This morning we went for the breakfast buffet and the food was delicious, but the service again was not great. Our waitress gave us decaf coffee when we wanted regular, no water, and then never came to check on us again. My husband ended up having to go up to the waiter station and get water for us himself.

Overall, the food was okay, but there are better options, especially for the price you pay so I wouldn't really recommend...

Went in for lunch, when we arrived the restaurant was empty and no waitress to be found. Stood for about 5 mins before someone came to seat us, which is fine but once we were seated we waited over 10 mins and still haven't received water. I asked a lady if we could get someone water and order as we were ready and she said someone will be by shortly and we had to coutine to wait. Server took our order and that was pretty much it, brought our food and then the bill. Did not ask if we wanted anything besides water, didn't ask if we would like to order dessert or anything else just here's your bill and go. I didnt finish my food and I had to get up and walked around looking for a waitress because no one ever came back to the table. This was by far the worst service I've received in...

Amazing food, service, and staff. Stayed overnight last night & had both breakfast and lunch. We had the buffet breakfast, and for $17 it was everything you'd ever want or need, they also offer to do your eggs to your liking if you're not a scrambled fan. I ordered two poached medium eggs and they came out perfect. For lunch, I had the steak sandwich and the person I was with ordered the butter chicken. After I finished my delicious meal, I helped him finish his, because that butter chicken, was to die for!

Staff are so quick, friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to send you with a coffee to go. Loved my experience...
