Wascana Donair & Shawarma — Restaurant in Regina

By far and hands down the best shawarma place in Regina! Went for the first time and got a large shawarma, it cost the average price ($16) but was easily 2x the size of any other place in town. The shawarma is also far more flavourful than any other place’s in town!

Service was awesome! The man behind the counter was very friendly and gave me recommendations based on my questions. He was very personable and great to interact with. I forgot to catch his name, but he was great.

After eating, I asked for change for a bill, and left a tip in the jar; the man stopped me and asked if it was my first time eating here, which I said yes to. He offered to give me a free dessert, which I happily accepted.

First of all, the definition of "customer service" is exemplified by the staffs here. Super friendly. Second of all, absolutely amazing food for the price.

The only thing is, the inside of the place is not neat. Meaning, it is not filthy but it is not nice. Random chairs here and there, unmatching tables.

A nice indoor decoration for this place would make this place amazing.

I suggest : Center pieces for tables. New tiles on floor that is bright Good art works on wall Take out the unmatching chairs Good music overhead And menu board on top can be done better.

Don't get me wrong. Food is excellent. I would like a place that has excellent food and customer service to have a good indoor decor that's all :)

I would have given a 0 star if possible. The most misleading image of a food item I have ever seen. The item description for the mixed sharwma tray mentioned for 3-4 people, but there was not even enough meat for 2 people. The worst delivered food I have ever experienced. I paid 60$ for this, what a joke. Maybe get a proper measure for people's meal before you out something like that in the menu. Update: They gave me a gift card and the manager and cashier both expressed their sorrow. Got the large lamb and chicken wraps, both tasted great but i liked the lamb one better.
