We were very impressed with our server, Casey. Honestly the best server I ever had. When we arrived there was a delay in someone greeting us and seating us. He noticed and came right over to ask if anyone had greeted us yet. As we said no, the hostess came over and he quickly introduced her and let her seat us. To our surprise he was our server! The service was phenomenal. The food was fantastic as well. We had the chicken Thai soup (the feature soup of the day) and the heritage salad. We had hot water with Lemon. Sometimes servers are noticeably unhappy to serve hot water as it is not a money maker and it’s work for them. Not Casey….he brought us an extra thermal container with more hot water without even asking. I was very happy as I usually have to ask for more hot water several times and almost never get it. The presentation of the food and nice dishes they use felt top notch. Casey took the time to chat with us when he could and was extra helpful with describing the menu. We are in town one more day and we will go back today because it was such a great...
Read moreWe had gone for meals at the Union Station. We understand that they were extremely busy due to a show on that night. The atmosphere was undesirable and the waitress ws friendly but had to wait long time for service.. However, from past dining experiences this time the quality and portion size of the meal was very disappointing. It seemed that since the restaurant was so very busy the food was rushed, cold, the salad not crisp and fresh, and the portion size very small due to the volume of people there. Best not to go when they are busy on show nights as you won't get the same quality of food, portions or service in tightly packed restaurant. When you order gravy on the side you get enough what was more like thin brown flavored water enough for a few hard cold fries. The onion soup was very bland and the cheese was burnt on the top. The salad not fresh and crisp. A real...
Read moreThe service leaves a lot to be desired... In the middle of eating my main course, my bill was placed in front of me, and I was asked to stop acting and pay my bill. The reason was that my server was going home. I'm not sure why I have to stop eating to accommodate the server. There was no thought about the customer eating a meal. It was not only awkward but completely unnecessary. And then I was left alone because I no longer have a server... I finished my main course and sat, nobody ever came by to remove my plate, offer dessert or coffee, nothing. I was just left alone at the forgotten table. They looked at me, but just left me sitting.
If they were going to send the server home, don't seat me with that server... that simple idea that doesn't take too much thought.
I suggest choosing somewhere else to...
