I recently visited Loaded Pierogi in Regina, and it was an absolute delight! Located at 3614 Eastgate Dr, this spot takes the classic pierogi experience to a whole new level. The menu is bursting with creative options, and I couldn’t resist trying their signature potato and onion pierogies—perfectly cooked with a crispy finish that paired so well with the generous toppings. I went for the BBQ Philly Cheese Steak, and the flavors were out of this world—savory, smoky, and just the right amount of cheesy goodness.

The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were super friendly, making sure everything was just right. I loved how they offer both classic and innovative twists, so there’s something for everyone. The portion sizes are hearty too—eight pierogies left me happily full without feeling overstuffed. Plus, the hours are great, especially with them being open until 11:00 PM most nights, perfect for a late craving.

I really wanted to like Loaded Pierogi, but it was a pretty disappointing experience. The pierogies were bland and nothing special. The service was super slow since there was only one person working in the middle of the day, and it took around 15 minutes per order as more people came in.

The dishes were way better looking than they tasted, but the restaurant had a nice atmosphere with lots of seating. They seemed to spend more money on the location and the way the inside looks rather than making their food taste good.

I ordered the Godzilla on pierogies, and the pulled pork was honestly bad. It was dry, flavorless, and underwhelming. We also tried the Buffalo chicken on curly fries, which was okay but oddly sweet instead of spicy, which is what you would normally expect from Buffalo sauce.

The prices were also very high for the portions. We ordered two dishes, one of them a combo, and the total came to about $37 for fairly small portions.
