Milu has lost its true identity. I hate to be writing this review. I actually really love this place, but the last few times I’ve dinned in and ordered takeout the quality and attention to detail have gotten worse and worse.
We ordered a rare beef pho, noodle bowl, and 3 orders of fresh rolls from their website. I always include in the notes to include cilantro. When my husband got there, they were super backed up on fresh rolls (it was a Saturday supper time, honestly not the biggest problem) and had to wait about 45 minutes in store. Our soup and noodle bowl was lukewarm and sad by the time it got home because they chose to give that to him first while he waited the rest of the time (30 mins at least). He finally gets home with our food, and the veggies for the now room temp soup were missing, off to a disappointing start.
The fresh rolls were lame. AND, they were missing cilantro. I had specified EVERYWHERE I COULD IN THE ORDER NOTES. Now I know they never read or care to read the notes. I know milu has had issues with cilantro and fresh rolls, but honestly they need to stop catering to the people who don’t prefer it. They can ask for it without. Every time I have asked for cilantro and I never get it. Even when I order in house and confirm with the waiter. They can never get it right. Milu, if you aren’t going to put cilantro in your fresh rolls please don’t even make it an option because I’m tired of being disappointed. I am so sad because I love this restaurant but you guys seriously need to start reading your...
Read moreI had beef soup one afternoon, restaurant was completly empty. I ordered a beef soup to avoid pork, the soup shows the list of ingredients on the menu. When I got the soup it had processed meat in it that was not beef, which was pork; not described in menu. So I politely asked just to cancel the soup, and the waiter started telling me its my fault for not telling him i didnt want pork. He then told me if he took it back I would have to order another item. Which then I said I would order the buddha soup or something like that which is vegetarian. He then goes to kitchen staff and tells the chef to make the food. While proceeding to stare from the kitchen, both the kitchen staff and waiter shook there heads from kitchen while making the soup. So my friend and I got up and told him to cancel the soup and that we are only paying for; the one soup my friend had, and my spring rolls, and our drinks. That I felt uncomfortable with the way he handled the situation and that im not paying for the soup, he tryed multiple times to sneak the soup on the bill. Then he tryed to sneak 1/2 of the cost of the soup on the bill. I threatened to leave without paying at all at that point and he gave me my bill without the soup. Was the worst experience at any restaurant I have had. After leaving my friend asked me how I could stay so calm in that kind of situation. I was not going to complain, but I saw that this restaurant was such a high rated restaurant so I decided I should share...
Read moreWould rate 0 if I could. Been ordering pork sub at this place for years. Normally a Filipino lady would greet me as I come in. Today was horrible! I waited for 5 minutes... no greetings or anything. Two new ladies didn’t even bother to take my order. Waited for a few more minutes, a father and his son came in. Guess what? One of the lady greeted them right away! Wow. Ok. Then another guy came in and they take his order right away too. I just stood there for 10 minutes!!! I heard one lady whisper to the other “it’s ok. Let them wait. No need to hurry”. And they started on the two orders from people that came in after me. Never acknowledge me. Wasted 15 minutes just standing there. Left and find somewhere else that have a better customer service...
