I love the idea of a bagel shop! Especially with Great Canadian Bagel closing down. However, I do find the bagels to be smaller than expected and for it to be a little more pricey then I expected. For two bagels with cream cheese, two coffee and tip, it was about $19.00. I love supporting local, but I also believe in fair pricing. If you are going to charge more for an artisanal product, calculate your tip INTO THE PRICE and pay your staff accordingly. No one would even notice. The bagels were good, but nothing I would highly suggest or come back for again and again. But the cream cheese was stellar. The herb and garlic was so fresh and flavourful (like Philadelphia herb and garlic cream cheese, but on steroids). And the smoked Gouda and bacon was really smoky. All in all, the staff were friendly and welcoming. I look forward to trying something else on their menu in future.

A nice little bagel shop tucked where the Little Bird used to be. My cousin told me about this place. I thought I would try it. Atmosphere is nice and open and cozy. Workers are friendly and place is kept clean. The bagel I had was an everything bagel with a bacon and smoked Gouda cream cheese. I’ve read the reviews but my first experience is not a disappointment at all. The bagel was a good size for me and it was crisp outside and chewy inside as a good bagel should be. Cream cheese was quite creamy and tasty. Can’t wait to try the other flavours. Price is ok with the cost of everything going up it’s reasonable and I like supporting local businesses.

A bright and sunny place to enjoy an amazing turkey, egg and cheese bagel for breakfast or brunch! I appreciate that everything is made in house. The bagels are exceptional in texture, which, for me, means easy to bite into, and lighter than store bought ones. There is no extensive coffee menu, which is just fine with me. I prefer a cup of 'regular' coffee with a meal. I highly recommend the Bagel Shop for a morning/early afternoon coffee and a bite to eat. Next time I'm there, I'm going to have the feature cookie!

I went in today to get some bagels and cream cheese. Another bakery in the area was out of bagels and instead of making my own like I normally do. I decided to support another local business and get from here. I’ve had bagels from here before and they were good. The cream cheese was even better, which is the main reason for why I chose this place second. It was hard to find parking as the location was downtown, but I figured the bagels I was going to buy would be worth it . The smell outside was great, business was clean, and there was a great selection of products! The hot honey cream cheese which is a monthly selection right now is great and has a nice amount of spice. Sadly the staff were not friendly, were not polite and came across like I was inconveniencing them by making a purchase there. I was only ever spoken to once and it was to ask if I needed freezer bags. No hello, no thank...

This place is ADORABLE! It was just what I needed leaving anthology. I accidentally stumbled upon this little gem and I'm so grateful that I did. I ordered a bagel sandwich and French onion soup to go. Then while waiting and seeing all the yummy fresh bagels, I ordered 6 more bagels for home and a garlic cream cheese.

The bagel sandwich was unreal. It had turkey and avocado. Was filling and tasty. I would recommend not getting an everything bagel if you do not like the taste of "burnt" because the seeds do roast and give a slightly charred taste. I don't personally mind. The French onion soup wasn't the best but it wasn't bad either. I'm just real picky with French onion soup and a hard nut to Crack.

The bagels I took home lasted 3 days. The garlic cream cheese, one and a half. The cream cheese is so delicious I can not even put into words.

So there you have it. Don't...
