New review (yr later): don’t bother. It took more than 20 minutes to get our water and put an order in. Another 20 minutes to get the drinks. Total of an hour to get the food. The French dip was thin and tough plus the bread was burnt and the fries were stale. The food was also cold and had clearly been sitting for a while. They were busy, but the poor customer service went beyond that. For example, when my friend was seated at the table, she asked the waitress to wipe it down, and she did, and then left the dirty cloth on top of the menu that my friend was looking at. She also never once asked us about her food and we constantly had to flag her down for absolutely anything. Plus they crammed so many tables into the roof top that it was uncomfortable. Just don’t go. Original Review: Classic pub, quite spacious, but not the best. The waitress would disappear for sections of time, but she did come back to check on us at least once and knew her beers. The fish and chips were more bread than fish even though it had an okay flavor. The fries were good. Also, the benches had quite a bit of duct tape on them holding them together.

I visited this place on Thanksgiving, hoping to have a nice dinner with my wife, but the experience was a bit disappointing. I ordered three whiskey shots, an 8oz glass of wine, and a small roast beef sandwich with salad. The food looked fine, but the portion was small, and it was served in plastic containers, which felt quite basic for the price. The total came to around $55, and honestly, it didn’t feel worth it. The service was okay, but overall, it wasn’t the kind of experience that would make me want to come back.

Great old pub decor. We sat on the roof top patio and it was really hot - no umbrellas. It was our choice , but that’s ok. Service was quick and friendly. I had the full order fish and chips. It wasn’t anything exceptional, whereas I had to use a lot of salt, pepper, malt vinegar and tartar sauce to liven it up. Wife had chicken Caesar wrap which had a lot of flavour. Fries were cooked well, but no seasoning, so again with the salt. Beer was good! Overall great experience. FYI no bathrooms upstairs!

Most people in Saskatoon love this place for it's beautiful rooftop patio. It's spacious, sunny, and at the right tables you can look down onto the street and watch life go by. In fact, we have never eaten here unless we sat on the patio, so we don't come here in the winter.

The service can be spotty - depends on the waiter and how buys the place is. Usually the service is fine, exactly what you'd expect at a casual pub.

THE FOOD Keep in mind this is not a gastropub... it's a regular pub, which hasn't lost it's place in the world! The food is decent, some dishes are better than others. You can always depend on the burgers being enjoyable and their fries are delicious.

Lucky Chicken Burger: This was quite delicious. The grilled and seasoned chicken breast was moist and tasty, topped with a generous amount of delicious sauteed mushrooms, melted and gooey mozza cheese, crispy bacon, some lettuce, and big slices of sweet tasting tomatoes. Definitely worth having.

Taco Salad: So this was... interesting. Probably not something we would order again. There is far more ground beef in this than actual salad, which I suppose some might count as a positive. I prefer balanced proportions and this off. The ground beef was cooked in a very generic "taco" seasoning (chili powder, paprika, maybe some onion garlic power). There was some lettuce, tomato, red onion, and marble cheese. A couple of Jalapenos sliced on top. On the side came a tub of sour cream and a tub of salsa. Both very impractical in a salad since they're so thick - I guess one could use the bowl to enjoy these accompaniments after the salad...

I don't even know where to start. My wife, her two friends, and I arrived at this pub around 11:30 PM. I came after work, my wife too, and her friends after their morning shift at a hotel. I ordered a beer for myself and my wife, an Aperol Spritz for one friend, and the other didn't want to drink, just water. After 25 minutes, my wife and her friend received their beer and cocktail, but I was ignored. I approached the bartender directly and said I didn't understand why my beer hadn't been brought yet. They didn't respond to me. A few minutes later, a man came up and told me to leave the establishment. I'm writing this message 30 minutes after the incident, standing outside. My wife and her friends had their drinks taken away (they didn't even get a sip) and were forced to pay for them despite the drinks being taken. We are now standing outside the pub, not understanding the reason for this humiliation. You can say anything you want, but the fact is we were simply kicked out, and I don't know the reason. Maybe they didn't like my face after a 12-hour shift on the construction site, or maybe there is some other reason. But I'm ready to take any test or analysis, I hadn't had anything to drink and just came to have a beer with my wife and her friends. We are now standing here, completely unable to understand why we were treated like this and for...

On Saturday, August 23rd, my boyfriend and I went to O’Shea‘s, and sat on the rooftop around 4pm. We frequent O’Shea‘s quite often, especially in the summertime. We sat ourselves down as it was not very busy and only people at 8 tables. Most of the patrons had food and drink already served to them. There were four girls working on the rooftop. They asked two tables how they were doing with their drinks and food and walked right by us. We sat there for over 10 minutes which is totally unacceptable especially since it was so slow there and they had enough servers for the small amount of customers there. We decided to leave and came downstairs. There was a woman and man behind the bar, one of whom I believe was a manager or assistant manager. We let them know what happened. All they said was I’m sorry I’m sorry and this has never happened before. They could’ve offered us a drink downstairs, but did not. My daughter works in the service industry and sometimes she’ll serve over 20 tables just herself. This is the worst service I ever received in any restaurant and bar in Saskatoon! I gave one star for everything because I’m not sure if the review would accept 0 stars! We never even had a chance to order food or drinks because no one...
