While I am sure the pizza must be great, the service is not. Last night I ordered a 2 pizzas for carry out. I ordered through the website and received a confirmation. Prior to leaving home, there was no update to the app but it showed that the order was in progress. My boyfriend and I walked 20mins to pick up the pizza and upon arrival (about 8pm) the worker explained that our order was cancelled. When inquiring why it was cancelled he said it was because there was a technical difficulty and they are closing early. I have worked in food service and understand that technical difficulties and mistakes happen, but that is not an excuse for not alerting your customers. The worker claimed that they sent a cancellation email, however, I never received any cancellation email. This could be related to the technical glitch and I don’t blame the workers for that. But I ask- considering you had my contact information, why would you not call to ensure that the message was received?
Upon arrival, the workers did not show any remorse or even demonstrated that they cared about the inconvenience when we told them that we did not receive the email. Mistakes happen, but it should have been handled appropriately.
At the VERY LEAST, upon arrival we should have received an apology and some form of compensation (giftcard).

They claim no contact delivery but that is not true. Even when the entire bill including a generous tip, the delivery person will pound on your door repeatedly.
I often order pizza delivery on days when I cannot cook, so no contact is important. I have asked them not to do this several times because it wakes up my baby and upsets my dog when they stand there pounding on my door but they still do it. Every single time.
They also have delivered undercooked, crushed pizza's a few times now and they offer less than 50%. Then! They try to charge me for delivery and tip a second time for the replacement pizza. It's cold, unsealed and badly made. Ridiculous, you send me inedible pizza and I have to pay twice the delivery and tip costs and get only half my original order? I don't think so, what a scam!

I had noticed personally and heard how delivery folks picking/nibbling the food and hence, i don't accept any food delivery without a proper seal. The delivery guy felt offended when i refused to pay because it the box wasn't sealed and asked him to return the order. He then knocked again asking me to call the store and explain. I called the store, the folks who work there did not speak proper english and were rude. I explained them and they tried to push back on the return which is against Dominos policy (every delivery order MUST be SEALED) and dude hung up after i told them i would consumer complain about this store and their poor service risking hygiene.
