I wish there were more healthy options like this in Toronto’s food courts! Finally, something beyond cold salads — warm, wholesome Asian food that feels nourishing and satisfying. 🎉

What really impressed me is the veggies. 🎉Especially the spinach — it’s actually cooked! Omg, it’s so hard to find meals where vegetables are fully cooked and make up more than half of the portion! 🫨 This is amazing.

Most places overload with carbs, which honestly we don’t need that much of — it just feels heavy and makes you sleepy after. Here, the balance is perfect: generous veggies, lighter on the carbs, and overall way healthier.

Love that the veggie portion is the largest portion — please keep it...

Had the Chicken Bibimbap. Very balanced bowl of protein, vegetables and their purple rice (as my base of choice). I was able to have the egg on the side. I'd say the chicken thighs could have been a bit more plentiful for the price ($14.99). However, the other elements made up for it. The miso sesame mayo sauce was delicious and nutty, and a generous portion was given to coat the ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the mushrooms, zucchini and bean sprouts. They didn't taste raw and crunchy, which was nice! I didn’t use the gochujang sauce, which was also included. Nice staff.

Would recommend and would return if...

Doraji at The Well offers a surprisingly delightful bibimbap for a food court setting. While I usually prefer it served warm in a stone bowl, the dishes here still managed to impress with their taste and healthiness. The gochujang sauce, in particular, provided the perfect amount of spice that I crave, making the meal both satisfying and flavorful.

However, the service left much to be desired. Despite the tasty food, I found myself having to overlook the poor service to enjoy it. A bit more attention to customer service would be worth it to gain...
