attended the grand opening on the 26th, had the guestlist check-in and was told to go to the "vip line" the line was slightly disorganized and the owner of the bar next door was yelling at people who were trying to get into the guestlist line to go to the other line it was a little stressful tbh, after we got in my friend was kind of harassed by one of the security staff telling her she couldn't go to the bar without first paying cover? but we had the guestlist and the show pass check-in and there was no one inside telling us what to do/where to go
I found the entrance quite clogged since it's where you're supposed to pay cover? and also people want to buy credits there as well as redeem for prizes? and by a small staircase seems unsafe
thankfully a co owner was able to allow us to go inside and gave us a couple of game cards with credits to play.
once inside it was pretty packed, the bar was well staffed and they are quite friendly. it was enjoyable seeing the staff facts on the screens.
some of the games didn't work properly and I think they might have taken off the credits still. it can get crowded and clogged around the game areas
there are some games that you can find both upstairs and downstairs so rather than 50+ games like advertised, it's more like 30-40 different games spread in a large space and there are duplicates of some classics, like the skeeball and throwing balls at clowns
favourite game was the twister game, haven't seen it before and it was very fun
drinks are priced accordingly for king west, two highballs came up to about $24 though there are weekly specials and happy hour that I would like to try after the hype dies down a bit
DJ's were alright and the dance floor is a decent size
in closing, Greta seems like an interesting vibe and different to what is normally offered on king west, I personally would like to try and come back on a slower night and perhaps check out the happy hour specials and take advantage of the...

When we got to the “event” there was nothing to suggest this was a ticketed event other than the girl at the entrance checking tickets and putting a stamp on your hand. There was no party, no DJ and we basically paid to go to a normal bar. Also they played hip hop and pop music which is ok but a soca party event was advertised. Secondly we sat at the bar and there was a bartender in a green shirt, long hair and tattoos who showed discrimination towards us. He was not friendly, and when he brought our drinks he just put the machine for me to pay without asking or saying anything and walked away. When I paid, the machine just sat there as he did not come back till it said the bill was closed. He never said thanks or offered me my receipt. My first impression was he’s very rude. But then I heard him being unusually pleasant to the persons next to us saying “absolutely man” and “of course “ and I looked over to notice those persons were white. To confirm what I already realized, he later went down the bar and asked everyone if they were ok and needed anything else but he skipped my friend and I, who were sitting at the bar amongst the other patrons. Paying customers no matter their color, race , social status deserve the same type of customer service and respect. So 1. Do not advertise a party and charge a fee patrons to come to your venue when it’s false advertising. 2. Do not advertise a Caribbean party because Caribbean people are colorful and beautiful and if you have staff that do not know how to treat those patrons don’t invite us to come there. Never will I return to this establishment or any branch of this establishment and I hope my fellow Caribbean people see this post so they don’t waste their time and instead go to places where they’re given good customer service where regardless of their culture,...

2024 May 4.5★ Looking for something to do? Like to have some fun? Grab your friends and swing by, grab some bites - their food is pretty good (some better than others though) and play some games and enjoy the music from the live DJ Friday & Saturday night. After 10pm, the steel tables and chairs are moved and the dance floor is opened.
Bucket List Brussels Sprouts $15.75 - fried Brussels sprouts, grapes, popcorn and some drizzled sweet vinegarette.. very good. Would order again. Dill Pickle Fries $14.50 - pretty good. Good dill flavor and crunchy. With the cheese and dip, just perfect. Would order again. Rotating Fruit Mule $16 - it's ok. Tito's Vodka $11 - it's ok. Not enough alcohol. KFC Wings $22 - good, but had better.
Games prices: $10 for 40 = 0.25 per credit. $20 for 120 = 0.17 $25 for 160 = 0.16 $30 for 200 = 0.15 $50 for 360 = 0.14 Expect each game per player to need 8 credits. So Twister = 8 x 4 players = 32 credits. 1 card is all you need. Wait between scanning. A new card requires an additional $1.
