There was an event hosting free items like boba, a dog keychain, and a newspaper photo from 12pm-2pm. The line started over an hour early and people were standing in the sun for the last 30 mins of the line up. We were told to line up away from the other stores, but as it neared the 1pm mark people were almost in other stores because of the heat. Many people almost passed out from the heat. The biggest issues: They came by with the camera in the beginning once or twice. Then came back again near the 1pm mark twice, recording people red, sweaty and near heat stroke. Some water cups (2 cups) came around AFTER 1pm, after they recorded the line a minimum of THREE times. The ticket tokens to “guarantee a keychain” came at 1:30 pm. This allowed people to leave and come back later in the day, BUT THIS SEEMED TO BE AFTER SOMEONE ASKED, and not everyone was told about being able to come back later. Seemed like they cared more about content than the wellbeing of the customers. I felt terrible for the people waiting closer to the second half of the line, because they did not do headcount until 1:30 pm. Many people were waiting in the heat, and didn’t get told about the cut off point UNTIL ALMOST THE END OF THE EVENT. The line was wrapping around the block before it even started, but the manager/employee still said “we will probably have enough to serve people who come between 12-2pm.” I thought they would’ve came with a system since this is their second event. (For whoever is curious, it wrapped around three sides of the blocked) I lined up around 11:15 am, guess what time I got in… 1:45pm. They were still doing regular orders and someone could have easily cut the line since it was unsupervised. This also made the wait extra long. Not sure the issue, but each drink was terribly long to make (they only had one drink available, although sugar and ice changeable). The slow production of drinks was probably the biggest problem which made the line move VERY slow. I’d say they served under 50 people (AT MOST 50 people) in an HOUR after opening (by 1pm). The line wrapped, and there was DEFINITELY over 150 people. They seemed like they advertised two options for the drinks, because every post showed two drinks which featured the event. It was one. Very misleading. I also saw a post of someone not getting the keychain, but just a free drink? I guess they ran out even with the tickets Overall this event was poorly done left a bad impression of the company. The drink was not bad though, and the keychains were decent quality and matched the pictures. (And all time stamps were rounded since I don’t know the exact minute by minute time)

As an avid enthusiast of beverages, I recently had the pleasure of immersing myself in the exquisite world of milk tea. Let me begin by expressing my utmost admiration for this delightful concoction, which has undeniably won over my taste buds and captured my heart. First and foremost, the aroma of milk tea is simply irresistible. From the moment the tea leaves blend with the creamy richness of milk, a tantalizing scent permeates the air, teasing the senses and beckoning one to indulge in its comforting embrace. Now, onto the taste – an experience that transcends mere satisfaction and ventures into the realm of pure bliss. The delicate balance between the robust essence of brewed tea and the velvety smoothness of milk creates a symphony of flavors that dance gracefully on the palate. Each sip is a revelation, a harmonious fusion of sweetness and warmth that leaves an indelible impression. What truly sets milk tea apart, however, is its versatility. Whether enjoyed hot or cold, with boba pearls or simply as is, the possibilities are endless. Each variation offers a unique sensory journey, inviting exploration and experimentation with every cup. Furthermore, the sheer indulgence of milk tea goes beyond its taste alone. It serves as a comforting companion during moments of solitude, a refreshing pick-me-up during hectic days, and a delightful treat to share with friends and loved ones. By the way, the coffee also good to try!!b

This used to be my favorite place, but unfortunately, not anymore. We ordered the Osmanthus Blossom and were greatly disappointed—there was no noticeable Osmanthus flavor, and the sugar level was off right from the start. For $15, I expected more, but it seemed like we were just paying for the packaging. The staff’s lack of attentiveness, likely due to being close to the end of their shift, added to the unsatisfactory experience. The 2 stars are from my past experiences a few months ago, when their grape lime tea was excellent and the staff was attentive, caring, and detail-oriented.

Update: Went again after the owners reached out looking to rectify the previous poor visit. I can confidently say that while the second experience is better, I can't really give the place more than 3 stars. The cashier this time was extremely respectful and diligent. He greeted customers the moment they entered the store and bid them farewell on the way out.

I will have to say that drinks are made ridiculously slow. It took them nearly half an hour to make my two drinks, and there were significantly less people than my first visit.

The drinks themselves were pretty hit and miss. I had the Berry Blossom Fusion and the Mango Pomelo Sago Tea. The Mango Pomelo Sago Tea is alright, definitely have had better. Overly milky and the mangos were sour. For a sago drink, there was hardly any sago. Berry Blossom Fusion was the better of the two, tasted largely like a floral strawberry slush. The drink was fine, maybe a little watered down but the whipped cream topping was delicious.

Overall a better experience though, and the cashier is phenomenal. Maybe streamline the drink making process, the wait is ridiculous.

Original Review: Came Downtown Toronto and wanted to try out a brand new bubble tea place.. I've never been so disappointed by a bubble tea place before.

The cashier was clearly inexperienced and couldn't answer any of our questions. We asked for a recommendation for our first visit and she started yelling in Mandarin to her coworkers and got no response. Not only that, she kept punching into the system two drinks when I only wanted to purchase one; somehow she managed to mess up three times and then complained to her co-worker in Mandarin about us as if I didn't speak the language.

We ordered the Snow-Topped Dark Milk Tea. The drink came out lukewarm and they completely forgot the "Snow-Topped" to our drink. When we asked about it, they just poured into another cup and put whipped cream on it. Overall the drink was milky, watered down, and tasted really old. You couldn't taste the "imported tea" the cashier clumsily explained. The drink was passed around to 5 friends and not a single one liked it. Who knows, maybe the resentful cashier made this happen haha.

Overall, awful experience. I don't know how you can have an untrained staff member with a terrible attitude and have a gross drink as your "recommendation". For $8+ after tax,...
